CEOs to French aristocrats: The Tuxedo Society members in all their insufferable glory
I’d hate them if they weren’t so damn pretty
You might have watched a Tuxedo Society video, or seen some of their members, without even knowing it. The videos are curated to be as vague as they are gorgeous, which is precisely why some went viral last month. Accumulating millions of views and pages of adoring comments, the mysterious nature of the clips gave way to mad speculation ranging from nepo baby parties to ideas of roaring 20s coming back.
On the outside, the Tuxedo Society is like a modern-day Great Gatsby. Vintage cars, lavish parties, stunning clothes, even more stunning people, and those hedges cut into elaborate shapes. They even play tennis in formal wear, which thanks to Hollywood we commoners understand is the height of class.
But beneath the grandeur and carefully selected professional titles, the members of the club are more like Barry in Saltburn – very clever but masquerading as old money. They literally pay thousands to be included, and while some of them are undoubtedly posh girlies, most are influencers branding themselves with Instagram’s Ludwig filter and nostalgic vibes.
Thanks to the society’s application website that was recently published, we can now comb through its elite members for a casual bit of Instagram stalking. Grab a martini because here are the members of the Tuxedo Society.
1. Gabriele Bonini – co-founder
According to his LinkedIn, Gabriele founded B&G Consulting at the age of 18 before moving out to Dubai with the company just a year later. He specialises in the fashion sector, claiming to have helped businesses go from zero to a million euros in turnover. He founded the Tuxedo Society in 2024 alongside Riccardo Capotost.
2. Riccardo Capotost – co-founder
Most Read
As per his Instagram and official Tuxedo Society handle, co-founder Riccardo Capotost claims to be an entrepreneur. However, I can’t find any business experience besides a flourishing social media presence and numerous websites and agencies list him as an influencer.
Though his Instagram certainly conveys the image of European high society, I feel as though hashtagging #oldmoney is a little too on the nose even for the bourgeoisie.
3. Filippo Morano – French aristocrat
Filippo Morano, real name Filippo Pignatti Morano di Custoza, is an influencer and member of the French aristocracy, according to an interview in Gentleman’s Codes. When he’s not posing up a storm for the Tuxedo Society, you’ll find a similar brand of content on his Pinterest-style Instagram, Gentlemen‘s Gram.
Scrolling through his Instagram is awe-inspiring but it called me a povo so I’ve since closed that tab.
4. Fabio Attanasio – luxury eyewear founder
Much like Filippo, Fabio Attanasio is a men’s style expert with 577k followers on his The Bespoke Dudes Instagram page. He reportedly has a net worth of up to €1 million after founding TBD Eyewear.
5. Leopoldo Silva – businessman
Unlike some of his Tuxedo Society brethren, Leopoldo has very little social media presence and his Instagram is set to private. According to his profile, he is the founder of LinkCapital and specialises in luxury real estate – eat your heart out women of Selling Sunset!
6. Tamara Francesconi – luxury travel advisor
Tamara Francesconi is a luxury travel advisor which is rich kid code for, “I have money, travel a lot, and post pictures of it.” She boasts 692k followers on Instagram.
7. Silvia Pasquini – fine paper industry
Silvia Pasquini looks to have graduated from the University of Ferrara before working in the fine paper industry. Her Instagram also suggests she is dating fellow Tuxedo Society member Leopoldo.
8. Darina Gritsenko – influencer and photographer
Darina Gritsenko is a model, photographer, and videographer whose self-owned agency has created campaigns for the likes of Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria, St Regis, and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
9. Francesco Migliore – Influencer/Businessman
Bored of vibey Instagram pages yet? Well, I’ve got another for you!
Francesco Migliore has amassed 244k followers on Instagram through his JetSet Classics page. Unlike some of the other “brands” on this list, Francesco’s ditches the old money facade for something more modernised. It’s very businessman from the late 80’s – think Wolf of Wall Street but without Margot Robbie.
10. Paola Cossentino
Tuxedo listed Paola as a creative director and by the looks of her By Paola Cossentino Instagram she specialises in photography and videography. So much like Francesco, Darina – and I’m guessing at least a few more to come – Paola transformed her followers into a full-blown business model.
11. Mees Truijens – model
Mees Truijens, the self-proclaimed “Dutchman with an Italian flavour.”
Signed with DNA Models, Mees’ chiselled cheekbones have worked for Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, and Daks. He is currently dating Paola Cossentino, so rich kid circles really are as incestuous as movies make them out to be.
12. Ciel Chen
Residing in Sydney, Ciel Chen is an investor in China’s real estate and the founder of Breakthrough Media. Like his friends, he’s a huge jet setter with dozens of countries checked off his bucket list.
13. Jérôme Carlier – businessman
Belgian influencer turned businessman Jérôme Carlier is kinda doing it all. His career began as a typical style influencer but he’s since launched the Des Mirages clothing brand that is inspired by the “art of Dolce far niente.” It means the art of doing nothing, so his clothing is resort wear meets loungewear and makes some of the Love Island brands look like TikTok shops.
Over the last few years, he’s also expanded his work into other brands, acting as a creative director for La Boucle since October 2024. Outside of work, he’s father to one daughter but he doesn’t look to be in a relationship currently.
14. Lars Schöning – ‘Culinary Artisan, aviation strategist, aesthete’
I had to include the Tuxedo Club’s full description for Lars because I honestly felt so disappointed after looking into him. In the real world, he’s the hospitality and catering projects lead for Swiss International Airlines, which although impressive in its own right, is a bit of an anticlimax for “Culinary Artisan, aviation strategist, aesthete.”
For further disappointing context, an “aesthete” is someone who has an appreciation of art and beauty. I’ve seen Nicholas Chavez in Monsters, does that make me one too?
15. Charles Larger – founder of the Gentleman Journal
Charles runs the Gentleman Journal, another Instagram aesthetics page with 525k followers. It now has its own website where it posts pieces on subjects such as Jude Law’s style, the best ways to spend 48 hours between Lake Como and Milan, and the art of conversation in the digital age.
Thrilling.
16. Sveva Fischetti – winery owner and influencer
Sveva Fischetti is another influencer, and while she does post the classic old-money look sometimes, most of her content seems way more authentic. She reacts to pop culture news, does actual to-camera videos of herself, and seems to bounce between personal styles.
17. Giacomo Ruscica – founder of Secreta Concierge
A fan of slopes, sand, and sweaters, Giacomo Ruscica is basically Jacob Elordi’s character in Saltburn. He runs a luxury concierge service and I could totally have seen Jacob’s character doing that if Barry hadn’t done him in.
Secreta Concierge provides exclusive locations and experiences to both new customers and existing members, offering trips to locales such as Istanbul, Capri, Doha, Lake Como, and The Alps.
18. Paul Ribot – luxury trips organiser
Paul is an events and trips manager who has partied on just about every continent, Antarctica is yet to come. Through his Beyond Members Club, Paul has been everywhere from Mykonos to Dubai, Bali to Cairo. He’s also got a video with Andrew Tate on his Instagram, so do with that what you will.
19. Dario C – businessman and classic car collector
Besides his Tuxedo Society bio and his love of classical cars, there is not much information available on Dario. The members club does use a lot of vehicles from Como Classic Cars but it’s not clear whether this is Dario’s company.
20. Alessandro Russo
Alessandro, known as Ale Stark in finance circles, is the creator of the Stark Software (not the Marvel one) that is used for autonomous trading. He doesn’t have a big social media presence besides Facebook he hasn’t updated since 2024.
