Ultimate nepo baby Apple Martin called out for her ‘mean girl’ behaviour at debutante ball

As far as nepo babies go, I fear Apple Martin is the final boss of them all and she seemed to solidify that status during her debutante ball debut at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris this weekend. I mean having both Chris Martin of Coldplay and Gwyneth Paltrow of Goop as your parents is actually quite something.

The debutante ball had a highly exclusive guest list with only the truly rich, famous and influential getting an invite, so it made sense someone as famous as Apple would make the cut.

A lot of footage of the ball was obviously shared onto TikTok, with people quickly picking up on Apple’s behaviour, claiming she was being an “entitled mean girl” during certain points of the ball.

The most widely discussed clip from the debutante ball seems to show Apple Martin barging into and interrupting another girl’s photo moment. During the clip, another girl can be seen getting her individual picture taken by the photographer, but midway through Apple appears to barge into the shot and starts posing for her photograph instead.

She seems to force the other girl out of the shot and it’s all very awkward as Apple start posing and pouting for the camera whilst the original debutant watches from the sidelines.

Many have called out her behaviour in the comments, with one saying: “Oh wow, why did Apple do that? Let the other girl have a moment.” Another added: “Not a good behaviour for such an event.”

Another “mean girl” moment captured on TikTok showed Apple seemingly glaring at a woman who was apparently getting too close to her family’s photograph together, although one of the worst moments was Apple Martin actually rolling her eyes at her date for the debutante ball.
