An expert reveals who’s actually going to make money after All Stars, and whose career will flop
If they’re chasing clout, it will be wasted on some of them
This year there has been a lot of talk about money and fame on Love Island All Stars. Many of the cast members have been accused of going back to the villa for clout, and not for finding love.
Whilst the cast are paid for appearing on the show, the big money comes afterwards. Whilst they say it’s all for love, a lot of the Islanders are eyeing up the £50k prize fund, and the brand deals that come afterwards.
So, speaking to The Tab on behalf of FruitySlots.com, PR expert Lynn Carratt has said who this is going to pay off for. She said going back on All Stars is “risky” and there are actually only very few Islanders who will cash in afterwards. Here are all the details.
‘Returning to the villa is a risky move’

Lynn said going on All Stars in the first place is a big risk, as Islanders can’t be sure what the public reaction to them will be. This reaction can really make or break an Islander’s career.
“It’s always a risky move to return to the Love Island villa,” Lynn said. “You can never be quite sure of the public’s reaction to you. Reality stars return to the villa to regain their public profile. They’ll be on TV daily, returning them to the public’s consciousness. Many of them will make in excess of £1million through brand deals after leaving the villa because they already have a large following.

“We saw how well Molly Smith did last year after winning alongside Tom Clare. She’s gained millions of followers and bagged a number of lucrative brand deals in the process, making her one of the most successful Islanders to date. Meanwhile, All-Stars Gabby Allen and Ekin-Su are already worth a reported £1.6million each. However, it has become more challenging to build your success after appearing on the show in recent years.”
Harriett and Ronnie to be the ‘highest earners’

Lynn has quite definitively said the success story – money wise – from All Stars will be Harriett and Ronnie. She said: “My biggest hope for the outside is Ronnie and Harriett, and if they play it right, they could bring home the Love Island crown and lucrative brand deals too.
“When the show started, Ronnie was back to turbo and moving mad. But since his ex, Harriet, arrived in the villa, Ronnie has become a one-woman man, and the pair have left viewers crying with laughter. They are now odds-on favourites to win the show.”
Lynn backs “TV gold” Harriett to star in loads more shows with Ronnie. “I can see them with their at-home show on ITVBe and joint brand partnerships,” she said. “From a PR perspective, Harriett and Ronnie will be the highest earners I believe in terms of TV deals and will make in excess of £250k.”
Ekin and Curtis could ‘generate £1million in brand deals’

Ekin has always been a Love Island success story, and apparently, long may this continue. Lynn said: “This year, Ekin-Su has the most significant public profile, with over four million followers on social media. However, after her appearance on the Celebrity Big Brother, she had much to do to win back the public. Although Ekin has brought drama, odds show she and Curtis are the least likely couple to win the show.
“While they may not be the current favourites, they do have over five million followers on social media who are very engaged and that could generate them over £1million in brand deals following the show. Also, Curtis is known for his love of making coffee for everyone, Nescafe would be a good fit for him.” Honestly, I see it!
Gabby to ‘cash in’ following the villa – but will her romance with Casey go the distance?

Casey has had the most backlash for being on the show for fame. And whilst he’s denied it, you can see where the allegations come from. He’s spent the last three winters back to back in the villa.
Money-wise, it’s looking good for Gabby. Lynn said: “She has one million followers and could make in excess of £250,000 in brand deals in the next six months. We could also see her working with the likes of fitness clothing brands, such as Lululemon.”
However, we can never be sure how things will go with her and Casey, in the real world. Lynn said: “I fear, as we have seen with many couples on previous Love Island shows, that many of the couples on All Stars will break up on the outside. Being in the Love Island villa is like a holiday romance. When the couples leave the villa, it is difficult for them to align their lives together. Especially if there is distance involved or one is in more for work than the other.”
That being said, Lynn has “high hopes for Gabby and Casey.” She added: “But this is his third time in the villa, so can he commit?”. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
