Club promoter to fishmonger: The normal jobs of the Love Island All Stars before fame

The cast was grafting long before coupling up

It’s hard to believe that before they were pulling people for chats the cast of Love Island All Stars season two were living incredibly normal lives with regular jobs like accounting, makeup artistry, and construction.

With a roster of over 300 people, Love Island does a somewhat okay job of pulling in people from all walks of life. In seasons since gone we’ve had doctors, pharmacists, and real estate agents, and this season of Love Island All Stars is just as diverse – at least where jobs are concerned.

From Ekin-Su to Ron, Tina to Olivia, let’s see what the cast was up to before ditching their mundane nine-to-fives for a life of podcasting, influencing, and brand deals.

1. Luca Bish

Luca Bish was famously a fishmonger before joining season nine of Love Island in 2023. The family business, MCB Seafoods, is over 25 years old and acts as a middleman between local fishermen and high-end restaurants.

2. Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu

Before Ekin-Su ever annoyed us on just about every British reality TV show, she was doing the exact same thing on the Turkish television series Kuzey Yıldızı İlk Aşk. Outside of that, she did some modelling and portrayed a serial killer in a Turkish soap opera.

3. Grace Jackson

Before she stepped foot in the villa, Grace Jackson owned her own social media management agency and events company with a dash of modelling on the side.

4. Ron Hall

Bombshell Ron Hall worked as a financial advisor before his first Love Island stint, running his own firm under the name RH Wealth Management. He has since ditched that for podcasting and general influencer antics.

5. Tina Stinnes

After studying business at university, Tina Stinnes went on the launch her own clothing company called Litora Studio. It primarily makes sustainable swimwear and has been featured in Vogue and Tatler.

6. Casey O’Gorman

Before he was turning heads and breaking hearts on Love Island, Casey O’Gorman worked as a recruitment consultant. Those skills have clearly translated well to Love Island as he is frequently looking to recruit new girls to couple up with.

7. India Reynolds

A few years before India Reynolds coupled up with everyone’s favourite Ovie Soko, she worked as a glamour model. She posed on the front of mags such as Nuts, FHM, and Zoo, but was also featured in The Sun’s page three.

8. Marcel Somerville

Marcel Somerville’s earlier job should not need explaining because he is constantly talking about his role as a former member of the 10-piece UK hip-hop group Blazin’ Squad.

9. Elma Pazar

Elma Pazar was featured in the fifth season of Love Island, but featured might be a strong word because she was only there for six days. Before that, she was working as an accountant – a real one, not the OnlyFans term – and an eyelash technician.

10. Catherine Agbaje

Queen Catherine Agbaje was working as a commercial real estate agent before she so kindly graced us with her presence on Love Island.

11. Olivia Hawkins

Though Olivia Hawkins would have made a great security guard or gossip columnist, her actual job before Love Island was as a social media influencer – so basically the same thing she’s doing now, only with more Instagram followers.

12. Ronnie Vint

Prior to his starring in season 11 of Love Island, Ronnie Vint was a semi-professional footballer with Dartford, Dulwich Hamlet, and later Ashford United. He largely played defender, something he hasn’t transferred into Love Island as he dodges confrontations.

13. Scott Thomas

Scott Thomas is the Luke Hemsworth of the Thomas family, meaning his brothers Adam and Ryan are far more successful with regular acting jobs in shows such as Emmerdale and Waterloo Road. Meanwhile, Scott largely worked as a club promoter before Love Island.

14. Gabby Allen

You should be able to tell thanks to the pair of guns she’s got, but Gabby Allen has always had a passion for physical fitness. Before flashing her abs for ITV, she was a dancer and fitness instructor.

15. Curtis Pritchard

Curtis Pritchard’s brother AJ recently shared their money troubles but he’s not worried thanks to their combined work in the world of dance. Curtis has worked as a ballroom dancer and choreographer for years, appearing on Dancing with the Stars.

16. Kaz Crossley

Though she’s very much in the social media influencer world now, Kaz Crossley made her start as a model and makeup artist. She worked on a few of Stormzy’s music videos and even acted as Maya Jama’s makeup artist on more than one occasion.

17. Nas Majeed

Though there is considerably less information on Nas Majeed’s job before Love Island, he used the term builder once or twice on the show and Love Island initially listed him as working in construction.
