Olivia Attwood wants to ban these two phrases from Love Island and I wholeheartedly agree

‘There should be a contingency contract to put this in place’

Olivia Attwood has been reacting to the new series of Love Island All Stars and it’s the best thing ever.

First, she claimed Liv Hawkins photoshopped her face onto that iconic pap pic of Harriett and Ronnie and sent it to him in a DM. We love the drama!

Now, the ex-Islander has listed some phrases that she wants to ban from Love Island altogether because they are just so annoying.

The worst thing about Love Island is all the cringy words they use. They say so many weird things that no one uses in everyday life, and these are two of the worst.

Speaking on TikTok, she said: “There are two things I’d like to ban from Love Island vocabulary. I actually think there should be a contingency contract to put this in place.”

The first phrase she “doesn’t want to hear” is “slow burner,” which Islanders always use when they are developing feelings for the other person super slowly.

“I don’t want to hear about you being a slow burner. Go home and burn slowly,” she joked. “Also, slow burner is just code for you’re not attracted to the person you’re coupled up with.”

In her experience, Olivia said there is “no such thing” as a slow-burning man. They either like you or they don’t. It’s literally as simple as that, and if they like you, “they burn fast”.

The second phrase she wants to eradicate is “coming out of your shell,” which they often use as an excuse for not being very outgoing or talkative at first.

“I don’t want to hear about people coming in or out of their shells on national TV. Like you’re not a mysterious librarian from an indie rom-com. You are on Love Island.”

“You’re out. The shell is not in the room with us,” Olivia hilariously added – especially when it’s the second time you’ve been on the show and everyone already knows you!

I’m personally adding “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket” and “Crack on” to the banned list too.
