Katie Price ‘would marry JJ Slater in a prison wedding’ to avoid losing him if jailed

Despite Katie Price facing the threat of jail, it seems she’s not going to let that get in the way of her relationships with MAFS UK star JJ. In fact, a source claims that if she went to prison she would want to get married to JJ “behind bars” in order to make sure she didn’t lose him or the relationship.

Katie Price found herself in hot water with the judge when she failed to attend her bankruptcy court date last week despite “very clear warnings”, and was issued an arrest warrant.

A source told OK!: “She’s happier than ever with JJ, she wouldn’t want to lose him if we went to prison so she’d very willingly seal the deal from there, even if it wasn’t the wedding she might have hoped for.

“She’s said she’s found her soulmate so she wouldn’t want to lose that, so she’d absolutely marry JJ behind bars. She’d love to marry him wherever she was and whatever was happening. She loves being married so she’d happily say ‘I Do’ from prison.”

The source went on to add that JJ, who met Katie Price after appearing on MAFS UK, has been a strong support for her throughout her legal troubles.

They commented: “Everything that’s been going on has made her really realise what’s important to her, and JJ is one of those things. Of course it would worry her that her being in jail would mean the end of their relationship, so making it official and making this commitment would make sure that didn’t happen.”

Katie first declared bankruptcy in 2019 over unpaid debts and for a second time in March over a £761,994.05 unpaid tax bill. Last week, the judge said Katie has only offered “piecemeal cooperation”, and given only “the most basic information”, saying her reason for missing the hearing was “irrelevant.”

The court was then told Katie Price had flown to Turkey whilst she was supposed to be at court, with the judge saying: “It is in my judgement necessary that the court issue a warrant for Ms Price’s arrest. She has no real excuse in failing to attend today’s hearing.”
