Little Mix producer claims Jesy didn’t sing on final single and an impersonator did instead
‘She was quite literally over it’
In the wildest news of recent a Little Mix producer has alleged that Jesy Nelson did not actually sing lead or backing vocals on the band’s final single as a four, and instead was replaced by an impersonator. Jesy was the first to leave the band in 2020, citing the “toll” it was taking on her mental health. Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie continued as a trio after Jesy departed.
In the midst of a weekend celebrating Jade Thirlwall being the fourth and final Little Mix member to release some solo music, producer Tré Jean-Marie shed some light on his Instagram story about Jesy Nelson. Nelson was the first to go solo, and in particular the work Tré did on No Time For Tears, the final Little Mix tune the four girls did together.
The producer of Little Mix's final single as a foursome, No Time For Tears, spills the tea on the creation of the song:
"Fun fact: All of Jesy's backing vocals (and even one of the leads) are somebody else impersonating her because she was quite literally over it 😅😅😅" pic.twitter.com/7uOehxMwrC

Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne have had a fractured relationship since Jesy Nelson left Little Mix. Perrie Edwards said to Cosmopolitan this year on her relationship with Jesy that the two “don’t talk, and haven’t done for a long time,” she added: “It’s really sad, it’s heartbreaking.”
“But sometimes these things happen and people decide they want to part ways, and that’s absolutely fine. I would rather it went differently, but you can’t control how things go.’”
Leigh-Anne has previously explained that the three remaining Little Mix members “needed therapy” after Jesy left, saying “The whole thing was abrupt, sad and then it was messy.

“We were a family, the four of us were like sisters, and we had been that way since we were teenagers, so it’s not an over-exaggeration to say that losing a member was a traumatic experience. When you have felt so much love and support with another person over such a long time and then that suddenly disappears you never fully get to understand why it hurts.”
The Tab has reached out to Jesy Nelson for comment over Jean-Marie’s claims her vocals were done by an impersonator on No Time For Tears by Nathan Dawe and Little Mix.
