Mystery white tent erected on Queen’s Lawn
It’s not a bouncy castle
A large white tent inflated on Queen’s Lawn in the early hours of this morning has been unveiled as an innovative career’s event run by Shell.
Perplexed passers-by initially thought the tent was a bouncy castle but were pleasantly surprised by what they found inside.
The tent actually houses an interactive on-campus event run by Shell, including an energy zone which challenge participants to think about using human movement to create electricity.
The event is being run in support of Shell’s #makethefuture initiative which runs the annual Shell Ideas360 competition which helps budding innovators to formulate, develop and pitch ideas they believe can change the world.
To enter the competition and be in with a chance of winning a place on a National Geographic adventure, or if you just fancy picking up a free cap, head down to Queen’s Lawn before 5pm today.
