Selling Sunset’s Chelsea admits *that* skort is ‘diabolical’ and she only wore it for cameras
Is anything on this show real?
During this season of Selling Sunset, there was a big drama about Chelsea Lazkani and a certain skort she chose to wear. Chelsea and Mary were hosting a joint brokers’ open, and Chelsea arrived in an outfit which was deemed “inappropriate” for the situation.
Mary told Oppenheim Group bosses Jason and Brett that attendees at the event had made comments about how short Chelsea’s outfit was, with other cast members commenting “her whole ass is out”. The comments created a whole drama about whether it was anyone’s place to comment on what Chelsea was wearing, or if a professional dress code should be upheld.
At the time, Chelsea argued nobody was going to tell her what to wear, but she said she would “tone her outfit down” if that was what was required for her at work. She defended her style as being something that defines her, and nobody else’s business.
However now in an interview, Chelsea has said she didn’t even like the “diabolical” skort, and said she only dressed like that because the Selling Sunset cameras were rolling. She likened the outfit to children’s clothes, and said the Selling Sunset women only wear their signature OTT outfits for the show, and that’s not how they dress for work in real life.
Speaking on This Morning, Chelsea was asked: “Is the fashion in the office as flamboyant when the cameras stop rolling?” She replied: “Absolutely not. Absolutely not. I’m saving that skort for my four-year-old daughter when the cameras stop rolling. Why would I wear something as diabolical as that?”
She also admitted the skort was too short, and was really revealing. “My tush was out, guys, my tush was out.”
So basically, everything is done for show and nothing is real? Cool.
