Ranked: The Selling Sunset agents who earned the most in commission during season eight

Amanza earned $0 lol

As with every season of Selling Sunset these days, the discussion surrounding commission came up among The Oppenheim Group staff during season eight. The realtors are set to earn thousands from the sales of the huge houses, which means getting the biggest listings is super competitive in the office.

Property listings and sales from Selling Sunset’s season eight were analysed by Agent Advice, one of the real estate industry’s top resources, to reveal which agents made the most money and who could potentially earn the most from this season’s listings.

It turns out some of the agents are earning in the millions, whilst others are making literally nothing. Here’s the full rundown.

8. Amanza Smith – $0

It’s been a sad season for Amanza, who earned nothing whilst season eight was filming. She had one listing, which came with potential commission of $173k, but the seller backed out so now that isn’t on the cards.

7. Alanna Gold – $489k potential earnings

via Netflix

Season eight saw Alanna join The Oppenheim Group, and with it she brought a positive and professional vibe. Whilst we didn’t see her close any sales and bring back any cash, she still has some listings that *could* earn her some money.

She has three properties up for sale at the moment, with combined commission of $489k. Plus, one house’s price remains undetermined, so she could bag even more.

6. Nicole Young – $540k potential earnings

via Netflix

Nicole also didn’t close any deals this season, but she has one major listing on her books that if she does sell, could be over half a million dollars for her and the brokerage. She is trying to sell a $18million home, with $540k in potential commission.

5. Chelsea Lazkani – $732k potential earnings

Up next is Chelsea, who also didn’t sell anything during season eight, but has loads on her books. She has three properties she’s trying to sell at the moment, the most expensive being the $30million listing she’s sharing with Mary. That alone has commission of $897k, which she would of course have to share.

4. Mary Bonnet – $876k potential earnings

via Netflix

Mary also only has potential earnings coming out of season eight of Selling Sunset. As just said, she has a big pay day pending if she and Chelsea sell their $30million listing, and Mary has a further mega listing on her books, too. She is also selling a $28.5million property in LA – a listing she is sharing with Jason. If she sells both of these, she’s looking at $876k in earnings.

3. Chrishell Stause – $79k earned ($281k more potential)

Up into the top three earners and hoorah! We finally have someone who actually sold a house! Chrishell sold a $2.6million listing that was previously introduced on the show, and she has one more property which has potential earnings of $281k in commission.

Chrishell could earn a lot more than this though, as she has a five bedroom property which is yet to be priced on her radar, and is currently pricing up a seven bed house, which is looking to go on the market for between $19million and $22million.

2. Bre Tiesi – $105k earned ($359k more potential)

via Netflix

For all her chatter about unfair commission, Bre has actually come through this season. She sold a $3.5million home which turned around just over $100k in commission and has another potential $359k lined up in three other houses.

1. Jason Oppenheim – $1.2million earned ($787k more potential)

Of course, the big boss Jason is earning the most. At least he leads by example! He sold three houses during the time season eight was filming, which secured $1.2million in commission. The highest of this was a $28million listing. He is also currently sitting on two further listings, which if he sells (which he will) will bring in $787k more.

Plus, Jason obviously owns The Oppenheim Group so he doesn’t need to worry about splitting his commission with the company. Oh it’s been a big pay day for him.
