Another Love Is Blind UK couple SPLITS and Cat reveals REAL reason why Freddie blocked her
The show may be over but the drama has only just begun!
It’s not over! Welcome to The Tab’s Love Is Blind UK gossip round-up, bringing you the pettiest drama, most scandalous rumours and the least believable tabloid exclusives from around the web.
Sharlotte confirms her split from Ollie
View this post on Instagram
I think all of us were a bit confused about what exactly was going on between Ollie and Sharlotte, but whatever it was seems to have fizzled out.
She recently confirmed in an Instagram comment that the pair had decided to split, commenting: “I’m not in a situationship. I’m not in a relationship. I’m single.”
Good for her honestly. Ollie had previously revealed in a podcast that that scenes of his dates with Sharlotte were cut from Love Is Blind UK despite their “strong connection.”
He said: “She was a little bit more withdrawn than she would be in real life, so I wasn’t really feeling the same kind of buzz as I would be outside.” When he broke things off with her she decided to go home, but at the reunion revealed the two had reconnected “outside the experiment.” I think we all saw the split coming a mile off if we’re being honest.
Freddie explains why he wanted a prenup
This whole situation caused a massive amount of drama during the show, but during his appearance on Chloe vs The World, Freddie opened up about why he asked Catherine to sign one in the first place.
He explained: “It’s a legally binding thing, that’s why I was so adamant about the prenup. I’d only known her for three weeks. It was a difficult conversation.
“Maybe I could have worded it in a better way, but I stand by that decision that a prenup is the best thing to do, especially if you’ve only known someone for such a short period of time. If you’ve been together for a while, then obviously you’d relook at it. A prenup is important, it’s not just there to protect me, but it’s there to protect her as well.”
Cat reveals Freddie blocked her
In a TikTok video, Cat admitted that after the Love Is Blind UK launch, Freddie immediately blocked her, something that made her feel really “sad.”
She also claimed she reached out to him just before Christmas to tell him she wanted to remain friends, but apparently he replied: “No, don’t want to know you.” Absolutely brutal.
And claims he admitted he had ‘no feelings’ for her just days after they met
In an interview with Grazia, Catherine claimed that Freddie revealed he didn’t actually have feelings for her after the retreat, which took place just days after the pair met for the first time.
She explained: “Freddie communicated to me quite early on that his feelings had gone. So when you see me questioning everything all the time, when I’m very snappy or upset, that’s because I was getting mixed messages. What he was saying on camera and what he was saying off camera were two different things.” Yikes!
Jasmine savagely said she ‘doesn’t want to waste saliva’ talking about Ollie
Ollie and Jasmine are still locked in a brutal feud following a comment he made to YouTuber Jessie Woo about his co-star at the reunion. He shared: “What you’re seeing on screen lasted three maybe five minutes, in reality it was probably more 10-15 minutes.
“They cut that right down. [Jasmine] actually got a positive edit in my opinion, because in reality that went on for a lot longer and yeah, I’m not trying to throw her under the bus but she was like, poking me and her hand was in my face.”
In an interview with The Sun, Jasmine clapped back, replying: “I don’t really want to waste my saliva discussing Ollie. He doesn’t affect me in a very positive way. Those are the kind of people that you need to keep far away.”
And her mum released a statement on the backlash she received following the show
It’s safe to say Jasmine’s mum wasn’t exactly the biggest fan of Bobby when she first met him, leading some viewers to start leaving horrible comments about her. The backlash got so bad that she was forced to make a statement about the situation on TikTok.
She wrote: “To all viewers of Love Is Blind UK. Thank you for watching the show. May I request people to not foster hatred on social media. I am a mother and I thought I was being a mother. Forgive me if you have a negative opinion of my behaviour. You are all entitled to your opinion but remember we are all human.
She continued: “There were words that were said and the meaning in my head was different. We are all individual with different social and cultural backgrounds. My first language is Tagalog, not English.
“I myself felt uncomfortable watching the ‘uneducated’ part, I am sorry it was unpleasant. Let’s move on from that statement. Jasmine was safely raised to the best of my ability. I guided and protected Jasmine until the age when she is able to defend herself.
“As a mother, I was nervous and scared Jasmine is getting married under the experiment. I want her happiness, I want the best for my daughter. Again, please remember I am human. We all are. Thank you, Marisa.”
