Tommy Fury ‘tried to win Molly-Mae back’ hours after split and ‘will fight’ to make it work

He’s ‘gutted’ by the split and is doing what he can to get her back

Tommy Fury reportedly tried to win Molly-Mae Hague back, just hours after the Love Island couple announced they had split up. Last week, after five years together, the couple posted on Instagram to say their relationship was over, and they had called off their engagement.

However, shortly after this announcement, people noticed Tommy Fury had been posting cute photos with his family on Snapchat, despite Molly-Mae having posted to say it was all over. He was posting pictures on of him and Molly-Mae out on a dessert date together, and that morning had shared pictures of him and their daughter Bambi playing together.

Initially everyone was really confused by the posts, but it’s since been claimed this was a last ditch attempt to win Molly-Mae back.

According to The Sun, Tommy is “gutted” over the split, and has vowed to “fight” to win her back. There have been a number of claims made against the boxer in the days after the breakup, but he has denied everything. In a statement provided by his reps, Tommy said he is “distraught” by claims being made against him.

Speaking to the Mirror, a spokesperson for Tommy said: “Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers.” He is said to be “distraught” as he knows the allegations “couldn’t be further from the truth.”

In an emotional statement, Molly-Mae said she never expected their story would end this way, and added:  “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

“I want to thank you all for the love and support you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been part of our journey and it feels right to share this with you all. Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time. I’ll be back when it feels right.”
