Daya and Acid Betty enter the Drag Race drama with Willam, and they’re team Mistress

‘Everything she said about that clout chaser was true’

The Drag Race beef between Mistress Isabelle Brooks and Willam will go down in the history books as the gay version of Kendrick Lamar VS Drake. It’s that wild. Both the queens have released pasting videos of each other, two bonafide annihilations, on YouTube – and the entire saga has gone viral. Everyone is watching it unfold with a bucket of popcorn. Now, though – Acid Betty and Daya Betty have weighed in on the Mistress and Willam Drag Race drama with some absolutely brutal posts on Instagram calling out Willam’s behaviour and firmly putting themselves in the camp of Team Mistress. Here’s what’s gone down.

Acid went in on Willam

Acid Betty called out Willam, using a picture of Willam doing blackface which Willam has previously acknowledged and apologised for – and done a lot of time fundraising. Acid Betty posted “Mistress Isabelle Brooks told the tea on Willam. Everything she said about that clout chaser was true. So good.”

Acid then called out Willam’s Race Chaser podcast cohost Alaska for staying silent on the drama.

Daya Betty then called out Willam and Alaska

Then Daya Betty firmly entered the chat, and called out Willam and Alaska for not sharing Acid Betty’s side of the story when it comes to the paper dress saga that had some drama whilst All Stars 10 were on.

Daya Betty wrote “Is there a reason Willam and Alaska haven’t reached out to Acid Betty yet? Where is the apology, let alone a SIMPLE conversation in general? They were so quick to have Shokrala on their pod to discuss his side of the paper dress in which he ‘made’ and ‘didn’t get paid for’ – which was manufactured to make him look like a victim.

“Which, in return, caused my sister to get tons of unnecessary hate and trolling comments? Now that Acid Betty has shared her side of the story on the Petty Bettys podcast, it’s been silence from them. Seems like they are just feeding into the drama at others expense. Do better. Practice what you preach.”

Yikes. So yeah, you can count Acid Betty and Daya Betty sitting firmly in the camp of Team Mistress with all this Willam drama in the Drag Race fandom right now.
