God loves a trier: The Drag Race queens who’ve competed four times to win a crown

You do not have to look very far upon the release of a new Drag Race cast list for an All Stars season to find a fair few groans when a queen who has been on multiple times is once again back for a fourth shot at the crown. It has happened more times than you’d bet your money on now, where queens have lost three or four times. It’s a lot. Even queens the fans love can conjure up a few eye rolls when they’ve done their season, an All Stars, a Vs The World and then ANOTHER All Stars. With one of the most notorious four times on Drag Race queens now finally bagging her crown, here’s a rundown of the quadruple competitors.

One of the most famous for coming back to Drag Race so much, Jujubee is the original returnee. Now every time a cast drops, someone edits Jujubee into the mix – naturally. I think the amazing thing about Jujubee is fans love her so much they wouldn’t actually mind if she came back a fifth time. It’s also truly wild that she’s the only queen in franchise history to have come back four times and made the final ALL FOUR TIMES!? Wow.

Alexis has been utterly iconic on all four season, mind you. So much so she should have four crowns. And then win All Winners 2. Daddy Yankee!!!!

Eureka – Season nine, season 10, All Stars 6, Canada Vs the World season two

To be fair to Eureka, season nine only half counts because she got taken out by a knee injury and wasn’t on it for very long. But on her season 10 run and her All Stars 6 run she was a finalist and placed runner up. She was less successful on CVTW2 – but still a huge presence like she always is.

The thing with Ginger Minj that sets her apart from the other queens in this list is she’s the only one to do an actual mainline All Stars three times. She’s been a finalist in three of her appearances, and only didn’t get further in All Stars 2 because that season is famously the greatest cast of all time and she was just out wowed – didn’t really make any mistakes. Now Ginger Minj, rather controversially, just finally got her crown. You know full well she’ll be back for All Winners 2 however. I’d put money on it.

Okay, these two are unconfirmed yet – but the leaked cast list for All Stars 11 implies two more queens will hit the four times on Drag Race group chat. These are Kennedy Davenport (Season seven, All Stars 3, Canada Vs the World 2 and All Stars 11) and Silky Nutmeg Ganache (Season 11, All Stars 6, Canada Vs the World 2 and All Stars 11).
