Not Shannon wishing Caitlin was prettier so he could forget his ex

Married and First Sight Australia season 10 has been a wild ride and given us some scandals that will live rent free in our minds for the rest of time. From butt dials, sexting and Shannon saying he wished Caitlin was prettier so he could forget his ex – it’s been a savage season.

Here’s a rundown of the biggest on and off-screen scandals from MAFS Australia season 10.

Harrison and Bronte’s nightmare wedding

Let’s kick things off at the start and the moment when Harrison Boon claimed the title of this season’s biggest villain. His wedding to Bronte Schofield ended in tears when one of her guests, Jessica, recognised him. Jessica told Bronte: “I have a friend who is from Sydney. She told me about this guy that is going on MAFS that she has been dating for the last month and a half.”

It also emerged he allegedly made a pact with the mystery woman to get together after the show wrapped up filming. Jessica came armed with receipts to go with the goss, one showing a message saying: “Imagine if you got pregnant before I went on MAFS – what a scandal.”

Harrison then somehow convinces Bronte it’s all lies and from then on we saw a big web of lies this man continued to grow.

The butt dial scandal

Butt dials are so 2010, but somehow Rupert from this season of MAFS Australia made one and it threw his relationship with Sandy into chaos. The drama began when Evelyn told her husband Rupert he had accidentally rang her while on a night out with some of the grooms and she overheard some unkind comments about two of the brides. Evelyn told Sand about what she heard on the phone.

Sandy was shook and claimed Dan told her he was with his daughter, not on a night out. Sandy admitted she was “glad” Evelyn told her about the comments.

Claire and Adam’s kiss

Jesse calling out Claire for kissing Adam was really tense telly. Claire and Adam denied anything had happened but they later admitted to having kissed one another.

Dan facing allegations about having secret girlfriends

Dan made producers fume after he spoiled the tension with his MAFS wife Sandy. He was seen kissing another woman on the night the second episode aired – and it was a woman who attended the wedding as a guest.

This move from him sparked a legal warning from Channel Nine to Dan that he “cease and desist” from making public spoilers.

Dan was a busy guy because he also faced allegations claiming he had several secret girlfriends during filming. The So Dramatic podcast revealed Dan had three secret girlfriends during filming.

Shannon telling Caitlin he wished she was prettier so he could forget about his ex

Harrison might have been this season’s biggest villain but Shannon Adams gave him a run for his money. Shannon told his MAFS wife, Caitlin McConville she lacked natural beauty, he didn’t find her good-looking, he wished she was prettier so he would forget about his ex, and rearranged the wife ranking challenge moving Caitlin down.

Ollie and Tahnee being low-key related

Everyone’s favourite match, Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton were revealed to be low-key related. This didn’t make it onto telly for obvious reasons but it’s a twist no one saw coming. A source told Yahoo Lifestyle: “Tahnee’s sister’s husband is Ollie’s second cousin. Although they’re not blood related or anything like that, technically they are distant relatives in a weird way.”

Tayla and Cam’s sexting scandal

via Nine Network Australia

Married and First Sight Australia was rocked by a sexting scandal between two cast members not in the same marriage, Tayla and Cam. The rumours began while the show was filming and it has been all exposed in the reunion episodes which have both aired in Australia.

At the reunion, Lyndall confronted Tayla and Cam over rumours that they were allegedly sexting one another. Cam explained his side of the story to the group and said: “After final vows I went back home and was having a bit of friendly banter with Tayla. It was just back and forth text. It was nothing serious. It was just a friendly chat.” Tayla said way more than anyone was expecting to hear, she said she saw his “c**k.” Trauma!
