There’s several RHOSLC stars who have come under fire for being alleged MAGA supporters. Recently, Angie K and her husband, Shawn Trujillo, faced backlash over their alleged political stance, while Lisa Barlow and former cast member, Jennie Nguyen, faced the same.

Lisa Barlow is a registered republican, and while that doesn’t mean she voted for Donald Trump to become president, she donated to Ted Cruz in 2016, reportedly because she thought he was the only Republican who had a shot of beating him in the election.
She does follow the Obamas and Hillary Clinton, as well as regularly supports LGBTQ+ charities. Back in 2023, there was an alleged Photoshopped tweet which claimed that Lisa told her followers, “New York put your MAGA hats on.”
The X post added: “Under our constitutional rights, we WILL support President Trump and protest the tyrants.” The reportedly fake message then concluded by saying, “I’ll see you on Tuesday,” referencing the day the president was set to be arraigned.
Lisa immediately shut this down and wrote: ““F***er….. There is only one Lisa Barlow and your photoshopping isn’t it.” While she didn’t deny that she backs Trump, she supported Derek Kitchen, who ran for the Utah senate three years ago.
Her husband, John Barlow, is a registered Republican and voted against conservative Mike Lee, who worked on Trump’s reelection campaign, while Lisa donates to politicians more than most housewives. Politically in 2016, Donald Trump was not popular in Utah.

Former RHOSLC cast member, Jennie Nguyen, was reportedly fired from the show. She is the only confirmed pro Trump Republican who actively and regularly speaks about her political stance on Facebook, where she is actively anti-Democrat.
She has said in the past, “I am very proud to be a Republican.” After being fired, Jenny apologised for racist social media posts from 2020, writing that she was aware she “hurt a lot of people” with her words in a number of posts criticising the national BLM protests.

Angie’s political views have been questioned by viewers recently after it was discovered she follows controversial brothers, The Real World Brothers, on Instagram, which is run by Andrew and Tristan Tate. It’s also been alleged she is a MAGA supporter.
A TikTok user alleged that Angie blocks people whenever they ask her about her politics, before going on to point out that Angie’s husband follows Joe Rogan, Robert F Kennedy Jr, Senator John Kennedy, Dana White, Lara Trump, Erika Kirk, and the late Charlie Kirk.
Shawn exclusively told Reality Shrine: “I don’t have anything to add other than I’m not far right. It’s nonsense. I gather info. Both right and left but for some reason they only pick up on the right. Everything that is being talked about is all based on assumptions.”
“None of these people bring up the fact that I follow CNN and Andersen cooper or van jones. Add bill maher. This Andrew Tate business is crazy. I didn’t even know who he was but as a car enthusiast I started following him based on automobiles,” he continued.
Shawn added: “My views are more centrist. I have tremendous support for the lgbtq community and the ability to have every right we all have. My biggest challenge is that everyone thinks they should think like them or get canceled. It’s bananas.”
Britani Bateman
Britani’s fiance, Jared Osmond, is a MAGA supporter. He wrote, “MAGA baby!!! The future is bright!” on a video. Weeks ago, Britani’s donation to a MAGA senator was found. In August 2023, she made a contribution to Republican U.S. Representative John Curtis of Utah.
