The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Katsanevas and her husband, Shawn Trujillo, are facing a lot of backlash recently. We already know they’re a power couple who run several salons in Utah, but it’s recently been alleged they have some controversial views.
Despite Angie K being a firm favourite on RHOSLC, especially since she told Britani Bateman she has “high body count hair,” it’s now been alleged that comment is a popular phrase used in red pill incel content, which people believe her husband regularly supports.

Angie’s political views have been questioned by viewers recently after it was discovered she follows controversial brothers, The Real World Brothers, on Instagram, which is run by Andrew and Tristan Tate. It’s also been alleged she is a MAGA supporter.
A TikTok user alleged that Angie blocks people whenever they ask her about her politics, before going on to point out that Angie’s husband follows Joe Rogan, Robert F Kennedy Jr, Senator John Kennedy, Dana White, Lara Trump, Erika Kirk, and the late Charlie Kirk.
He also follows accounts like Red Pill Emperor and right-wing podcast, Wake Up America. Rumour also has it that Shawn used to follow Andrew Tate on Twitter, who is believed to promote mysogynistic views, according to RHOSLC viewers.
Shawn exclusively told Reality Shrine: “I don’t have anything to add other than I’m not far right. It’s nonsense. I gather info. Both right and left but for some reason they only pick up on the right. Everything that is being talked about is all based on assumptions.”
“None of these people bring up the fact that I follow CNN and Andersen cooper or van jones. Add bill maher. This Andrew Tate business is crazy. I didn’t even know who he was but as a car enthusiast I started following him based on automobiles,” he continued.
“My views are more centrist. I have tremendous support for the lgbtq community and the ability to have every right we all have. My biggest challenge is that everyone thinks they should think like them or get canceled. It’s bananas.
“I have many friends with different beliefs and I always have love and respect for my friends regardless of political or religious beliefs. If I hit a like on a friends post it to be supportive of a friend not necessarily with the content. Make sense?” Shawn concluded.

A photo once circulated online showing Angie posing with a man wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt. Angie later stated she was unaware of the message on the back of the shirt when the photo was taken from the front and that she rejects racism.
Shawn and Angie have been together for years: specifically, they’ve been married for 26. After getting married in 1996, they welcomed a daughter together called Elektra, and decided to open up hair salons, Lunatic Fringe Salons, across Utah.
