All the brutal times Love Is Blind engagements were called off AFTER the big reveal

Love Is Blind has seen many a wedding, but also several engagements getting called off. Making it to the altar is one thing, but actually going through with it is another, and we’ve seen multiple incidences where the couple has called off their road to marriage altogether.

Diamond and Carlton

Diamond and Carlton argued straight after getting engaged. He told her he’s bisexual, and Diamond felt she was disrespected, before ending things. He hadn’t disclosed his experiences with men before proposing to her, so they essentially just argued by the pool for ages.

Jessica and Mark

Mark Cuevas and Jessica Batten first met on Love Is Blind season one. They didn’t quite end up getting married, as Jessica said no to Mark at the altar. He was heartbroken for a while, until he met a woman called Aubrey, who he brought onto the reunion.

Giannina and Damian

Giannina is known for being the Love Is Blind villain! So when it came time to exchange vows, Damian said, “I do not.” He wasn’t dumping her, but basically wanted to date without the pressure of the show. They did briefly do just that, but later broke up.

Shaina and Kyle

They were constantly arguing! They both strongly differed on their religious views, and Shaina ended up dumping Kyle because she couldn’t be married to an atheist, needing someone with the same faith as her, despite being super close when they had the grand reveal.

Cole and Zanab

Cole and Zanab had a huge fight and called off their engagement. They were one of the show’s most volatile couples, with Zanab telling Cole at the altar how her confidence “shattered” during their relationship, and essentially walking away from him.

Nancy and Bartise

Nancy Rodriguez and Bartise Bowden got engaged but didn’t get married. Although Nancy was all up for it, Bartise said no at the altar, which happened after he admitted she wasn’t his “type” when seeing her in person, and was attracted to co-star Raven Ross.

SK and Raven

SK and Raven made it to their wedding, but SK refused to marry her. It wasn’t over for good though, as at the reunion they announced they’d continued to date on the outside world. Sadly though, in November 2022, they announced their separation.

Micah and Paul

Micah and Paul seemed super loved-up, but Paul eventually said no to her at the altar. He told her he didn’t see her as a mother figure, and even his own mum was unhappy he’d snubbed her, as she really wanted them to get together.

Irina and Zack

Zack and Irina were doomed from the start, because she dodged a kiss from him when he proposed in person. They broke up in Mexico on a couples trip, due to a lack of chemistry, and he actually ended up pursuing and marrying co-star Bliss, who he now has a child with.

Marshall and Jackelina

Marshall and Jackelina did not see eye-to-eye in person! Basically, Jackelina done a Zach move and decided to pursue co-star Josh Demas instead, deciding she couldn’t marry Marshall due to their unresolved issues, including how she was undeniably attracted to Josh.

Josh and Monica

Josh and Monica were obviously ruined by Josh’s attraction to Jackelina. They got engaged in the pods but were cut from the main show, with it all later coming out. Monica claimed Josh and Jackelina were “clout-chasing,” with her experiencing doubts he wasn’t The One.

Freddie and Katherine

Freddie and Katherine seemed more loved-up than ever – until he said no to her at the altar. He worried about how different their lifestyles were, especially as he enjoyed staying at home watching TV while she was more of a party girl, so he had too many doubts.

Nicole and Sam

Everyone will remember when Nicole couldn’t choose between Beniah and Sam, but then ultimately went for the latter. She quickly regretted her decision, saying their connection felt more like a friendship and that the chemistry from the pods just wasn’t there.

Lauren and Dave

Lauren and Dave split up in a theatre. Dave became mad at Lauren and her family, which was basically the tipping point for Lauren ahead of the scheduled wedding. It was so close to them getting married that their family and friends had booked their flights and hotels!

Kacie and Patrick

Kacie and Patrick got engaged, but then she abruptly ended things with him. Kacie claimed she had intentions of dating Patrick back in Colorado — she just didn’t want to be engaged because she wasn’t sure she could get the lacking physical attraction.

Nick and Annie

Nick claims he and Annie split up three times on Love Is Blind. He told her he “wasn’t 100 percent yet,” to which Annie thought he “doesn’t love her”. He was adamant he did love her, and said: “The reason that I am not willing to marry you is because I am unhappy.”

Joe and Madison

Joe and Madison were seeing cracks after he got super drunk at the pool party and made comments on her body. He ended things with her after getting his tux fitted for their upcoming wedding, saying he felt “detached” and realised he’d say no to her at the altar.

Kalybriah and Edmund

Kalybriah ended things with Edmund at the altar. She felt he struggled with accountability, feeling like she was always “giving, giving, giving” to him, while he was frustrated because she wanted to hold off with being intimate until they’d tied the knot.

Sparkle Megan and Jordan

Sparkle Megan called things off with Jordan on the show. She said they had incompatible lifestyles, especially as she always travelled first class and liked to go out for bougie dinners, while he was quite happy with his Kia car, alongside her Range Rover.
