Ranking Love is Blind’s least amicable divorces ever from awkward to all-out war
One couple's split literally goes down in history
If there’s one thing Love Is Blind does too well, it’s turning ’til death do us part into “…actually, never mind.”
Over nine seasons, only a handful of couples have made it from pods to legally married, and now we’ve seen a growing number of those marriages end in divorce, some quietly and some with full-blown public drama.
We’re ranking every Love Is Blind divorce from relatively civil and awkward to full-on reality TV battlefield, looking at statements, interviews, court filings and all the post-split tea, on and off camera.
6. Colleen and Matt

Season three’s Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton announced their split in May 2025 with a joint Instagram statement saying they’d been separated “for some time” and were choosing to “move forward on our own paths,” per People.
It read like two people who’d had enough, but weren’t out to destroy each other’s lives.
Considering how intense their relationship looked on the show, people were braced for chaos. But instead, we got a carefully worded, grown-up breakup. Awkward? Yes. All-out war? Not at all.
5. Iyanna and Jarrette

Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones were the first Love Is Blind couple to publicly announce a divorce, posting a joint statement in August 2022 saying their lives were “going in different directions” but that they’d always wish each other the best, per People.
Later, Iyanna opened up about the “grief” of the divorce, per People, and has alleged infidelity during what she called an “unhappy” marriage, even as Jarrette publicly wished her well when the split was finalised.
So the vibe is, sort of, nice statement, but messy feelings underneath.
4. Tyler and Ashley

Season seven’s Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser were already controversial thanks to the “sperm donor babies” storyline, where Ashley discovered Tyler actually had three children he hadn’t properly disclosed.
By January 2025, Ashley told People they’d separated and were divorcing, saying their paths were “no longer aligned.”
Since then, she’s called him a “pathological liar” over the scandal, while he’s released his own statement taking “full accountability” for his role in the marriage’s breakdown, reported TV Insider.
Less grenades than some other couples, but definitely not friendly-ex energy.
3. Brennon and Alexa

For years, season three’s Brennon and Alexa Lemieux were held up as a franchise success story.
They married on the show, stayed together for over four years and welcomed a daughter in 2024.
In November 2025, Brennon quietly filed for divorce, citing their marriage as “insupportable.”
A few weeks later, they posted a joint, loving statement about ending things respectfully and co-parenting.
But behind that, Alexa’s legal response has reportedly blamed him for the split and accused him of mishandling their finances while she seeks a greater share of the estate and coverage of legal fees.
The PR is calm; the paperwork says… not so much.
2. Milton and Lydia
Omg, Love Is Blind’s Lydia has filed for divorce from Milton after three ‘tumultuous’ years

Season five’s sole successful couple, Milton Johnson and Lydia Velez Gonzalez, managed nearly three years of marriage before Lydia announced on alum AD Smith’s podcast What’s the Reality? that she’d filed for divorce.
She described “layers of situations” piling up, from emotional disconnect to feeling unsupported in her health struggles, and claimed Milton wouldn’t sign divorce papers without an NDA, per People.
In later court filings, Lydia has accused Milton of “adultery” and “cruel treatment,” alleging inappropriate interactions with multiple women during the marriage.
He hasn’t publicly responded in detail, but from her side, this split looks anything but amicable.

1. Danielle and Nick

Season two’s Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson went from first couple to marry in the pods to the franchise’s messiest divorce record-holder.
Danielle filed in August 2022 after just over a year of marriage.
What followed was months of interviews and social posts where she accused Nick of taking “no accountability,” while he clapped back that her claims were “harmful” and lacking context, and eventually said he’d cut contact for his own mental health, reported People.
The split has repeatedly been described in the press, and by Danielle herself, as a “messy” divorce, complete with public feuding, reconciliations, and more podcasts than anyone asked for.
In terms of all-out Love Is Blind divorce wars, Nick and Danielle are still the couple to… not emulate.
