Love Is Blind’s Danielle has a new CEO boyfriend following messy divorce from Nick

Following the messiest divorce in Love Is Blind history, Danielle Ruhl has a new boyfriend. She’s been sharing updates on her new relationship on Instagram, and it looks as though she’s left the post Netflix experiment drama behind her.

Danielle and Nick Thompson got married in season two, but unfortunately it ended in them getting a divorce. Their split quickly turned sour, when they both started talking out about each other in interviews.

But now, Danielle is with someone new. She is in a relationship with John Schenkelberg, who is a finance bro, working in Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA). FBA is a service where Amazon will take care of storing, packing and shipping your products, handling customer support and returns. “I help people make money online,” states John’s Instagram, and he is also the CEO of XCelle, an eCommerce company.

Danielle has shared a bunch of cute pictures of them hanging out at sports games and enjoying life together. “I hope y’all find someone as weird as you are,” she said in one post.

Back in the midst of her split from Nick after Love Is Blind, Danielle spoke to E! News about her former husband and claimed he was taking no responsibility for the breakdown of their marriage.“There has been no accountability from his side,” she said. “I wanted to make sure that it was noted that it takes two, but unfortunately, with every interview, he is putting all of the blame on me and this isn’t new. This was something he did the entire relationship.”

In then turned into a messy back and forth, as straight away speaking to People Magazine, Nick clapped back and said: “It’s hurtful to hear these comments. It’s disappointing that Danielle chooses to make false claims and defamatory comments about me and our relationship. It’s especially hurtful because she knows firsthand how difficult being in the public eye is.

“As I have stated before, I implemented a boundary to not engage in communication with Danielle for my own mental health because I did not feel like our communication was trustworthy or yielding positive outcomes.”

Danielle then called their divorce a “bloodbath” because Nick had been “chatting shit” about her and their fellow cast members. She claimed Nick had been “silencing” her and was trying to “control the narrative” surrounding their split. She also accused him of making false statements in interviews, and said he was trying to “get attention” in the media.

In a statement to The Tab, Nick said he didn’t know how to defend himself against such claims, and was trying to avoid negativity to protect his well-being. Nick is now a mental health activist, and has his own podcast.
