Jade Shenker shares moment she found out ex-husband cheated

Owning Manhattan‘s Jade Shenker has revealed all the details on what happened between her and her ex-husband, Matthew Denham. She revealed on the Netflix show that he cheated on her multiple times, and has now spoken out about the “DM that saved her life.”

When she was married, she claims her ex had gone on a night out with his friends. During the middle of the night, Jade woke up to an Instagram message request from a random woman who alleged that he’d “made out with her” and “asked her to go home with him.”

The message was shared in a screenshot and said: “I was at a bar last night and ended up meeting Matt there, and after kissing me he told me he was in a relationship. He told me he had a ‘girlfriend,’ and I now see you two are married. He was not wearing a wedding ring.”

Jade said she confronted him when he got home, to which they were both “crying hysterically.” She claimed he told her that the woman had kissed him, rather than the other way around, adding that there were “no other signs he was cheating” in their marriage.

She went on to say that they talked it through, in which Jade wanted him to get a therapist and personal trainer, while she wanted to take his card shopping to buy herself a Birkin. Two days after the incident, she decided it was time for them to have a “real conversation.”

Jade said, “The next day, he came clean about all the times he cheated on me. Everything throughout the course of our relationship was a lie. I didn’t want our friends to hate him. I didn’t financially support myself so there was that aspect, it was just a lot.”
