Erm, it turns out Giovanni from Love Is Blind Italy owns an entire castle?!
It's giving fairytale
Love Is Blind Italy might be about falling for someone without seeing their face. But, people are now obsessed with something they absolutely can see, and that’s Giovanni Calvario’s very extra life off-camera.
On Love Is Blind Italy, his antics are getting his comments sections looking very active.
Off screen? He’s an events boss, a magician… and apparently the mastermind behind an actual castle in the Italian countryside.

On paper, Giovanni is not just “that dramatic guy in the pods.” He’s a 36-year-old events manager and magician based in Rome, firmly rooted in Italy’s creative and nightlife scene.
He’s the founder/creative director behind Boanerghes, an events and communication agency that’s worked on huge spaces like Ex Dogana, a 24,000-square-meter industrial venue in Rome that reportedly sold over a million tickets in a few years, per his website.
The Love Is Blind Italy star is also involved in Dopocinema, a “fuori festival” concept that turns unexpected corners of Rome into late-night film and culture spots.
Giovanni’s CV reads very “I live at night.” We’re talking large-scale events, brand partnerships, plus his own magic performances and shows.
Now, all the theatrics on Love Is Blind Italy are making sense.
He forms connections with both Gergana and Giorgia, eventually proposing to Giorgia, even opting to sleep on the sofa on their first night together so they don’t rush intimacy.
It’s giving “old-school chivalry with a side of showman,” kind of…
It looks like he owns a whole castle

Here’s where things get very fairytale very fast.
Away from the pods, Giovanni has launched a project called Castel Futuro.
It’s described as “a developing artistic space located in the countryside,” focused on creativity, performance and interdisciplinary exchange, with an open call for artists.
On his official website, Castel Futuro is framed as “a place that will be, a model of lifestyle alternative to the city narrative made of consumerism and concrete.”
The project’s own site pushes the castle vibes even harder, calling it “Un castello dove creare, vivere, lavorare. Il primo di tanti,” which translates to: “A castle where you can create, live and work. The first of many.”
And then there’s Instagram. Giovanni’s bio describes him as “@castelfuturo CEO & Creative director,” directly linking himself to the project’s castle account.
On @castelfuturo, reels and captions talk about exploring abandoned castles and even invite followers with lines like “come live in a castle with me,” as they scout and transform the space.
So…does he actually own the castle bricks and mortar? From what’s publicly available, there’s no explicit line anywhere that says “Giovanni bought this castle and it’s his private estate now.”
Instead, there’s a high chance he’s the creator, CEO and creative director of a castle-based cultural project.
