How did we all forget that Kendall and Kylie Jenner ‘wrote’ an awful dystopian book once?!
It was about two 'super-powered' girls
I’m transported back to memories of 2014 and something comes up about Kendall and Kylie Jenner‘s book: something I totally forgot happened. The Kardashians’ sisters claimed to have written the novel, but it turns out a ghost writer pretty much created the whole thing.
One of the plot points involves the two characters, Lex and Livia, which involves a birth control plot twist, with the description of the duo as follows: “Lex is a hard-scrabbled, bullheaded, tough-talking orphan while Livia is an indignant, bullheaded debutant orphan.”
They both have a small neon-green symbol on their eyes, and Kylie once told Toronto Star, “The fans seem to love it. That’s why we did it. I think we wanted to make Lex more like me and Livia more like Kendall, and they kind of evolved into their own characters.”

“I don’t think we took it that far,” said Kendall, who was just a teenager at the time, like Kylie. “I think that, we originally didn’t want to do something typical that you just heard anyone else would do. We just wanted to take it to the next level.”
The book has a 2.8-star rating on Goodreads, and by the way, that wasn’t the only book they claimed to have written. They published another novel called Time of the Twins, which involved ghostwriters Elizabeth Killmond-Roman and Katherine Killmond.
Its synopsis reads: “Will Lex and Livia agree to be a part of their mother’s dangerous plan and take on the daunting role of the “twin saviors”? Will they trust their mother and put themselves in jeopardy to save countless lives? It’s a responsibility they never asked for.”
This book did slightly better, at 2.94 stars on Goodreads. When their initial book was first released, they sold 13,000 copies in four months. Maya Sloan stated that while she did the writing, the sisters were involved in the process by giving notes and feedback.
