Anna reveals how she really felt about shockingly quitting the Love Is Blind pods early
She's been super vocal post-show
We all saw the ghosting that went down during Love Is Blind season nine. But, when it came to Anna Yuan opting out of dating, she wasn’t just unsure about someone she met, she was done with the whole entire experiment. One minute she was there, and the next she was gone.
Since then, Anna explained what led her to quit the show. And, now she’s clapping back at people online about her life post-show. She also just revealed how she really feels about walking out early – and we’re invested…
Anna reveals how she feels about leaving now
Anna hit it off with Patrick Suzuki and Blake Anderson in the pods. But none of her connections were enough for her to want to stay.
Speaking to Tudum, Patrick, who also left the show early, said he had “regrets.” But Anna didn’t.
She said she wished she hadn’t stood Patrick up, but she also knew she made the best decision for herself at the time, per Tudum.
“I don’t think I regret it because I don’t think the connections were strong enough to have a successful marriage from there.”
Ultimately, she left the Netflix show because she was worried about her parents.
She explained: “I was a wreck… My eyes were almost swollen shut from crying. I was embarrassed.”
Apparently, she was asked if she wanted to go on a final pod date with Patrick to announce her exit.
“But in the swirl of emotions, with her pyjamas on and no makeup, she simply didn’t want to be on camera anymore.”
She’s shutting down ‘weird’ people online
Anna’s post-Love Is Blind days seem to have come with a whole lot of social media action.
She’s been taking to IG Stories to remind people she’s “human” this October, reports Us Weekly.
The Netflix star wrote: “Hi friends, reminder that I am human… A human who has devoted her life into a craft to make other women feel beautiful. I have struggled with my weight since I was a little girl. For the first time in my life, I am proud of how healthy I am. I’m not a character. I’m a real human being just like you. Be kind. Love you all anyway.”
Anna also took to the ‘gram to let people know how “not normal” it is to comment on people’s bodies.
Sharing a post on October 25, Anna wrote: “Reminder that it’s weird as f*** to message a person you don’t know to comment about their weight or physical appearance… Please, for the love of God touch grass!”
“Also, yes, I’ve lost about 40lbs since filming. It’s not that deep and, again, you are weird,” she added.
