Unseen Real Housewives of London footage sees Panthea’s mom and Karen getting seriously heated
A producer had to step in
It’s not just the housewives bringing the drama, the mums are apparently getting in on the action, too.
In unseen footage from The Real Housewives of London season one, things reportedly took a fiery turn when Panthea Parker’s mother, Shala Joon, appeared to get into a tense exchange with Karen Loderick-Peace.
The moment, which folks only caught glimpses of through Panthea’s behind-the-scenes Instagram Stories, had producers stepping in before it went any further.
If people thought the main cast’s feuds were dramatic, this off-camera moment proves the London instalment of Housewives has more layers of luxury chaos than anyone expected.

Panthea’s relationship with her glamorous mother, Shala Joon, has been one of the more charming storylines of RHOLDN.
Shala became a fan favourite after her first appearance, the moment Panthea now jokingly calls an “entrance she’ll never live down.”
On Instagram, Panthea shared a photo from that day, writing that her mum “noticed every detail” of the production and that the beautiful Nowruz set-up they’d filmed at her house was sadly cut from the episode.
But behind the elegance, it seems not everything was quite as serene. In a recent clip reposted online, Panthea revealed a short snippet captioned: “BTS when Shala Joon and Karen were going for it. I think they should do an unedited version.”
In the video, both women appear mid-argument. While no sound is heard, it’s clear from the body language, raised hands, animated gestures, and an intervening producer that tensions were running high.
RHOL just got a new scene-stealer
If there’s one thing the London version has delivered, it’s style and spectacle in equal measure, and Shala Joon might just be its unexpected breakout.
Panthea herself has leaned into that family flair online, frequently sharing glimpses of her Anglo-Iranian background and her mother’s influence. In her Instagram caption, she reflected on their shared journey, writing:
“As an Anglo-Iranian, however bittersweet the journey, I know I’d never be here if it weren’t for fate.”
The post resonated deeply with viewers, blending the heartfelt and the humorous, a mix that perfectly captures Panthea’s appeal.
As for the off-camera spat? It’s unclear whether producers will ever air the uncut moment, but one thing’s for sure: if the moms are this entertaining, The Real Housewives of London might have just found its next cultural crossover hit, equal parts couture, chaos, and family pride.
