Salt Lake City hairdresser reveals the truth about RHOSLC star Angie’s hair salon businesses
Lisa Barlow accused her of lying about them
Angie Katsanevas has been accused of lying about how many hair salons she owns on the latest episode of RHOSLC. However, a former employee of hers is now speaking out to defend her, and shared her own personal experience of working in the same circles as Annie.
Basically, Lunatic Fringe was founded by Angie and her husband, Shawn Trujillo. The married couple started their journey in a 700-square foot salon, which has basically turned into a huge empire, and Lisa can’t quite believe how successful it’s all become.
Angie clarified that she owns three salons on the October 8 episode, while the rest are franchises. She said it’s a “model she’s proud of,” before Lisa barks back with: “Be honest about what you own. It’s like, ‘I own 10 salons.’ You own one and a half.”

A Salt Lake City hairdresser has now claimed: “I used to work for Paul Mitchell and I can confirm that Angie and Sean own several Lunatic Fringe salons, there are a few franchise as well, and they also own a Paul Mitchell School and are invested in a few others.”
It is public knowledge that Angie’s husband specifically owns a Paul Mitchell The School location in Salt Lake City, while the hairdresser in the industry claims it’s “insanely expensive and lucrative”. The source added: “They have a ton of money.”
They continued: “I have met them a handful of times at Paul Mitchell events and they are really cool, nice people. And they have a very good reputation of being really great to work for.” Someone else agreed and said: “Lunatic Fringe is legit. They always do a great job.”
