Lisa Rinna revealed the hardest part about playing Kendra Licari in film about shocking case
'It is a true story and it was challenging'
So it turns out that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna actually played Kenda Licari in a film about the shocking catfish case.
The case, which has recently been made into a Netflix documentary, revolves around Kenda cyberbullying her own daughter.

Lisa Rinna played a character based off of Kenda Licari in the film, and has expressed how hard she found it to have any empathy for her, which is very understandable.
In an interview with Parade, Lisa opened up about the role, saying: “It is a true story and it was challenging.
“I was certainly scared of it and I thought that means, ‘I need to do it.’ It was quite a challenge to find the empathy in this woman because as a mother myself, of course, I can’t imagine ever doing something like that.
“But you have to find out what would drive somebody to go to those lengths out of the fear of losing their child and their need of controlling and such, and I think it was just a really interesting part for me to play. It certainly was. It was hard.”

Lisa Rinna also talked to People about playing Kenda Licari, saying she was initially approached because she expressed interest in playing somebody “really really crazy.”
She explained: “I had been talking to Lifetime right after I left Housewives about doing a movie. We had a meeting and they asked me what kind of a movie I wanted to do.
“And I said, ‘I’d love to play either a murderer or somebody really, really crazy,’ and they were like, ‘Oh my God. We love it. We think we have something for you.’ So they had sent me an idea first that was truly a murder story and I loved it.”
