People have figured out why she looks so different
Jen Shah has been in prison for over two years, and it’s safe to say she looks totally different following a major prison transformation. She’s been involved in lots of gruelling regimes to maintain her good looks, and people are now figuring out why she has become so natural.
She celebrated her anniversary with husband Coach Sharrieff Shah in prison recently, but the shock of how much her appearance has changed baffled loads of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City viewers – and we found the last photo she shared before going behind bars!
Rumour has it that, because she hasn’t been able to get her regular Botox and filler procedures, Jen has become more natural. She’s been teaching a fitness class “three times a week,” and has kept up fasting during Muslim holidays as part of her dedication to Islam.

Shah initially reported to prison on February 17 2023 and was originally sentenced to 6.5 years, though her sentence was reduced by one year. Since then, it’s been brought forward again, with her release date set for August 30, 2026.
She also has to cough up $6.5 million in restitution and has already initiated those payments. During her time in prison, she’s began wearing glasses and keeping a really lowkey appearance, including no make-up and her hair tied up in buns.
Shah looks wildly different to the usual huge curly hair she has, and often chiselled appearance with defined make-up. One person said, “She is starting to look her age. And it looks great on her,” while another wrote, “She looks so much younger and more natural here.”
Even after she got arrested in 2021, Shah made sure to pay her hairstylist a visit. Her friend and assistant, who runs her social media page, even said: “She looks beautiful, her skin looks so glowy, her hair looks great. She’s doing phenomenal there in that sense.”
