Omg, Drag Race’s Mistress just got a new makeover after all *that* drama with Willam
She looks completely unrecognisable
RuPaul’s Drag Race star Mistress just debuted a whole new makeup look, thanks to Krystal Versace’s incredible skills. The look isn’t permanent, but it’s a far cry from what she usually does as a drag queen, and everyone’s quite simply obsessed.
She’s just about recovered from all that online drama with Willam, but is moving swiftly onto a new collaboration. Mistress was officially Krystallized, with people joking that she looks like she just competed in Eurovision, and “looks like an entirely different queen.”
Aside from looking totally unrecognisable, this iconic moment is reminding people of the time Bob The Drag Queen gave Plastique a makeover and made her appear way different. The main difference was that Krystal gave Mistress a cat eye, over her usual rounded look.
One person said: “I think Mistress likes a rounded eye and Krystal’s signature is the “yanked” look which suits her well so it’d be nice for Mistress to build off of that but not use the same eye shape. Everything else from the lip and nose shape to the contouring is perfection.”
Another person said, “And what if I said this is the best she’s ever looked,” while a Drag Race viewer chimed in and wrote, “I don’t know how anyone can honestly critique the look when it’s clearly filtered and shopped to such an extreme,” as everyone thinks she looks AI.
For the last few weeks, there’s been loads of online drama between Mistress and Willam, which has died down slightly. It all started when Mistress uploaded a YouTube video slating Willam, parodying Willam’s Beatdown and calling Willam a “clout chaser.”
Willam done a response video, slating Mistress’ treatment of Aja on the show, and after Mistress accused Willam of waiting in line for RuPaul at DragCon, who Willam has beef with and then got removed from, Willam says “She’s wrong – I got a picture in the line and left.”
That wasn’t all, because Willam said she “feels people don’t want to work with Mistress” – and explained how she, in comparison, is still getting bookings and being successful 13 years after being on Drag Race.
