Liam Payne to be given heartbreaking tribute in Netflix series filmed before his passing
He will posthumously star in the show as a guest judge
Liam Payne will be given a touching emotional tribute at the start of upcoming Netflix series, Building The Band, in which he appeared in as a judge before his tragic passing.
The ten part series will see singers compete for a chance to build their own band, and releases on Netflix on July 9th. However, none of them will be able to see each other, having to form a musical connection from hearing alone.
The judging panel for Building The Band alongside Liam Payne also features Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland, with AJ McLean as the host.

AT the start of the first episode of Building The Band, AJ appears on screen with a tribute to Liam Payne.
He says: “When we came together to film Building The Band, we never imagined we’d soon be saying goodbye to our friend, Liam Payne.
“Liam is a guest judge in later episodes and through his presence we see his deep love for music and his unwavering commitment to helping others find their voice.
“It is through that spirit that we dedicate this series to Liam and his family.”

Liam will make his first appearance as a judge from episode seven onwards, with the first four episodes releasing on July 9th, with new episodes dropping every week after then.
The official synopsis of the show describes: “Building The Band brings together talented singers for a truly unique competition show where building the perfect band is all about chemistry.
“The singers are in complete control as they seek to form their very own bands in individual “booths” without ever seeing each other.
“All they have to go on is musical compatibility, connection, chemistry and merit. What will happen when the bands finally meet, and looks, choreography, and style come into play?”
