34 year old Tamika Chesser has been accused of the murder of her partner, Julian Daniel Story, after she appeared in the reality TV series Beauty and the Geek in 2010.
She appeared in court on Friday via a video link from a mental health facility in James Nash House, where she was charged with Julian’s murder.
Tamika Chesser was refused bail by the magistrate during the hearing, and a committal hearing has been scheduled for December.
The body of Julian was found last week, when emergency services were called to a property in Port Lincoln following reports of a small fire.
When police officers went inside the house they found Julian deceased, with detectives from the Major Crime Investigation Branch and Forensic Response Section sent in to help with the investigation.
The police have since revealed that Julian Daniel Story’s had been removed when they found his body and is currently missing.
Detective Darren Fielke told the press: “We have not recovered the head of Julian Story”, adding it was “crucial” the head was returned so that his family can hold a funeral.
