Ever since Joey Essex made that VERY rogue cameo on the previous season of Selling Sunset I’ve been expecting more semi-iconic UK stars to show up, and it looks like one is already in the pipeline for next season.
UK WAG Rebekah Vardy, who was caught up in the whole drama with Coleen Rooney which is somehow still ongoing five years later, is set to star on the new season of Selling Sunset.
And as iconic as it would be if she joined as a full-time cast member on the show, it seems she’ll be going down the same route as Joey Essex and starring in an episode or two as a potential buyer, according to The Sun.
Rebekah Vardy is the wife of Leicester player Jamie Vardy, who announced his departure from the UK team just a couple of weeks ago, and now reportedly has US teams interested in him.
A source claimed: “The US is the most likely next move for the Vardy’s and is partly because Becky has had interest in TV work there.
“She was in talks with the makers of Selling Sunset earlier this year. They wanted her to appear as the potential buyer of a luxury home there.
“That stalled because of the California wildfires in January but could still happen. If it does, the show is a great ‘shop window’ for stars in the US to go on to other things.
They continued: “And other networks over there are aware of her because of her high profile through starring on I’m a Celeb and also the Wagatha case.
“It would also represent a fresh start for them and their family and a chance of moving on from recent events in the UK. But it does depend on what football offers Jamie receives as he’s still the main breadwinner.”
