Kelly Osbourne takes to Instagram Stories this August thanking any people who sent well wishes and prayers to her partner, Sid Wilson. Forty-seven-year-old Sid endured second-degree burns after an incident at the couple’s home in Iowa.
The Osbournes star Kelly Osbourne shares video updates of Sid from the hospital where he can be seen lying in a bed and being tended to by staff. Slipknot DJ Sid also took to his own social media to share what happened with his followers. He explained he “had an explosion in his face,” before adding: “I’m OK. I’m gonna be OK but I did have some serious burns to my face…”
Kelly O’s partner suffers terrifying accident
Taking to Instagram on August 23, Sid tells his fans how he burned his arms and face and was due to get an X-ray on his chest in the hospital.
He tells the camera: “My eyebrows are singed, my mouth is blistered.”
Answering fans’ questions on what caused Sid’s injuries, Kelly says: “That’s why you don’t f*** with burn piles,” on her IG page.
He sustained second-degree burns per OK! Magazine.
Sid is ‘doing so much better’
Kelly confirms via Instagram how her partner is “doing so much better” adding how she was on her way to go and pick him up from the hospital while filming the video update.
She adds further updates are on their way: “He’s still in a lot of pain but he’s doing so, so, so much better.”
By the looks of things, Sid will be back on tour in no time, as he promised, as he left the hospital and was being taken care of by Kelly in later videos.
Kelly shows a flannel in her Stories and says: “OK, this is probably the worst part about having a burn…” she then asks Sid if he’s “ready.”
Kelly applies a compress to burns on Sid’s face and says: “I’m so sorry if this hurts… I just want to get this dirt off your face.”
Sid lays with his eyes closed before Kelly asks: “Do I do the lips, too?”
He says “yes,” before Kelly also cleans his mouth area.
The mom of one shares snaps online featuring songs including Girl On Fire, Firestarter, Great Balls Of Fire, We Didn’t Start The Fire, and Set Fire to the Rain while laughing as Sid sleeps.
