Love Is Blind Sweden star Catja Lövstrand has come under fire since appearing on the show as fans blast accuse her of going on the Netflix series for “money” and “fame.” Given she’s worked for some major brands as a HR manager, Catja probably wann’t looking for a paycheck. But, whatever the case, she’s officially bagged herself a boyfriend following the show.
Catja and her Love Is Blind partner, Cristofer Pocock’s, journey on the show became the source of many memes. Now, the Netflix show has come to an end and fans are convinced her new boo is a “copy” of her ex. Meanwhile, Cristofer is taking a much-needed break after “breaking the internet.”
Love Is Blind Catja’s boyfriend
After a tumultuous Love Is Blind Sweden journey, Catja and Cristofer went their separate ways before reaching the altar.
Sharing a video of herself and her new boyfriend, Adde, to Instagram this January, Catja captioned the post: “May you find someone who speaks your language, so you don’t have to spend a lifetime translating your soul.”
Adde and Catja attended the Love Is Blind reunion together which, with no surprise, cemented her role of the show’s “villain” even further.
One viewer took to X (Twitter) to comment on the new romance: “Catja confirming she’s in a new relationship, in love and living with Adde in front of Christofer…. Damn!”
Fans say newbie’s a ‘copy’
Judging by Netflix viewers tweets about Love Is Blind Sweden, it appears many people were “team Cristofer” when it comes to his romance with Catja.
Now she’s revealed her new boyfriend to the world, lots of people are taking to the comments to say he looks like a “copy” of Catja’s ex.
One went as far as to say: “…the only difference is the accessories…”
However many others commented in support of her love, dubbing them a “dream couple”: “Wow congratulations to the couple, great choice Catja.”
Cristofer hailed a ‘gentleman’
It’s safe to say Cristofer had no issue in expressing how he felt about Catja during Love Is Blind.
If words of affirmation are your thing, then Cristofer would no doubt be the dream guy.
Sadly things didn’t work out for the pair, and he’s now being dubbed a “gentleman” on social media.
Speaking of Catja moving on, Cristofer told Netflix: “It hurt my heart at first when I found out they were dating, but I have given it time and have moved on and let it go. I wish them joy and happiness in life.”
Cristofer’s sayings are clearly catching on among his followers as one writes on IG: “You are so beautiful! I and my partner now walk around and say my heart’s joy and eternal longing for each other.”
