Gypsy Rose describes being ‘in disbelief’ as details of partner Ken Urker’s death are shared

More is emerging about the death of Ken Urker, the partner of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. Earlier today, it was reported that she had confirmed the news her partner and former fiancé had been found dead aged 34. He was found unresponsive, on his birthday. 

Gypsy Rose got engaged to Ken while she was serving her prison time. They then broke up, and she married Ryan Anderson, before they too split. Gypsy Rose and Ken then got back together, and welcomed a daughter named Aurora Raina Urker, in December 2024. 

Gypsy Rose said she had texted Ken to wish him a happy birthday, but received no reply. Her brother was then who found Ken, having passed away. 

Gypsy has since said she is unsure about the circumstances surrounding the death, and told PEOPLE she didn’t know if his death was “intentional or not.” She told the publication “he was not in a good state of mind lately.” She added she is “in disbelief, I can’t think” and said “I’ve screamed until my throat burns.”

In a previous statement, Gypsy Rose said: “Ken was an amazing father and a man who was deeply loved. He will forever be my soulmate and my red string, a connection that time, distance, and even death can never erase.”

She told the publication Ken was subject to an “unimaginable level of public scrutiny” and “relentless cyberbullying” on social media, and added the “cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure.”

She added: “I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment.”

Following the news of his death, Ken Urker’s sister has claimed in a TikTok video that he and Gypsy Rose had recently broken up. His sister, Autumn, claimed “they’ve been split up,” before she accused Gypsy Rose of leaking the news. Autumn also confirmed that Ken had passed away, sharing that his last words to her were, “I love you.”

The Lafourche Sheriff’s Office also shared a statement to confirm the news, which read: “We responded to a residence in Raceland today after receiving a call at 6:15 p.m. Kenan Urker, 34, was found dead upon arrival. At this time, we are continuing the death investigation.”
