Gypsy Rose Blanchard releases statement as partner Ken Urker is found dead aged 34
They share a child together
Gypsy Rose Blanchard has shared a statement as her partner and former fiancé Ken Urker has been found dead aged 34. He was found unresponsive, on his birthday.
According to TMZ, Gypsy Rose had texted him to wish him a happy birthday, but didn’t receive a reply. Her brother then found Ken, who had passed away.
Gypsy Rose got engaged to Ken while she was serving her prison time. They then broke up, and she married Ryan Anderson, before they too split. Gypsy Rose and Ken then got back together, and welcomed a daughter named Aurora Raina Urker, in December 2024.

She told the publication Ken was subject to an “unimaginable level of public scrutiny” and “relentless cyberbullying” on social media, and added the “cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure.”
Gypsy Rose went on to say that she will remind her daughter of her father, and added she “will make sure she grows up knowing how deeply her father loved her and who he was beyond what strangers on the internet chose to say about him.” She then asked for privacy for herself and her family at this time.
Gypsy later told People: “Ken loved our daughter, Aurora. She is a beautiful reflection of his enduring spirit, and through her, a part of him will always remain with us. I will make sure she grows up knowing how deeply her father loved her.”
The Lafourche Sheriff’s Office has also shared a statement. “We responded to a residence in Raceland today after receiving a call at 6:15 p.m. Kenan Urker, 34, was found dead upon arrival. At this time, we are continuing the death investigation,” it was said.
