Dean spills about three moments from his MAFS UK wedding to Sarah that didn’t end up on TV

The first episode of MAFS UK 2025 has dropped, and it was definitely memorable. I will not be able to erase the image of Dean rapping at the altar for a long, long time. Dean Vary has spoken about three intriguing moments from his wedding to Sarah that didn’t make it into their wedding episode on MAFS UK. Well, I guess the producers had to leave enough time for the musical performances.

Dean explained what he and Sarah spoke about after the wedding was filmed

Dean chatted about plenty of moments with Lucinda Light on It’s Official that we didn’t see in the show. Once the actual wedding was over, he and Sarah had to share a bedroom. He described the first night of marital bliss with his gorgeous new bride as being “okay”.

“I definitely wasn’t going to go for a kiss at the end of the night.”

“We spoke openly, just respectful. I was like, ‘Look, we don’t have to do anything. We’ll do it at out own pace. No rush.’ So we just slept in bed together. At opposite ends. It was, like, fine.”

We missed a wholesome moment with Dean’s family

Dean was asked which moments of his wedding he loved. His answer was a scene that didn’t make it into the final edit of the show.

“When I went in to see my mum and dad,” Dean said, “They were waiting for me and they hadn’t seen me in my full suit yet. We don’t usually say we’re proud or show emotion. It’s not really in our family that much. So to see them be so for it was really nice.”

I don’t remember seeing Sarah’s family rapping…

Dean’s description of his favourite moment from his wedding was rather different to what we saw on TV. He said: “The best part for me was definitely seeing Sarah and her whole family join in with the rap.”

Now, Sarah did eventually participate. But I don’t recall seeing Sarah’s whole family singing along. These are the reactions of her friends and family that we saw on TV.

Dean also enjoyed “seeing the families get together and talk”, which is another cute moment that wasn’t on TV.
