Creepy simulation video of Air India crash shows what happened and how only survivor lived

There’s a full timeline of the flight

Someone on YouTube has made a simulation video of the Air India flight crash, which details exactly what happened and how the only survivor managed to walk away from the scene.

The crash happened last week, and was not long after flight AI171 took off, bound for London Gatwick. The flight had been carrying 242 passengers. 241 one of those tragically passed away. But, 40-year-old Vishwash Kumar Ramesh miraculously walked away from the scene.

Yesterday, it was reported the “most probable” cause for the incident was a dual engine failure, but investigations into what happened continue. And now, someone has created a simulation video of the Air India crash, to try and best show what happened in real time.

The video starts with an overview of what happened, and how Mr Ramesh in seat 11a survived. It explains how he left through an emergency exit. The video then explains there are a number of theories as to what might have caused the crash, including one about how the wing flaps were positioned.

There is then a full timeline of events, starting with take off. The video explains that within moments from taking off, the plane began to lose altitude. A mayday call was then made by the pilot.

There is then a simulation of the actual moment of impact. There are then some theories addressed, none of which have been confirmed.

The video then goes into depth about how Vishwash Kumar Ramesh managed to survive. It says he was seated next to an emergency exit, and “managed to push the exit open” after impact. He then walked away from the crash site.

Speaking of his ordeal, Mr Ramesh said: “30 seconds after take-off, there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly. When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I stood up and ran. There were pieces of the plane all around me. Someone grabbed hold of me and put me in an ambulance and brought me to the hospital.”

He added: “I tried to unbuckle myself from the seat and escape from where I could. The side of the plane I was in landed on the ground. I could see that there was space outside the aircraft, so when my door broke I tried to escape through it and I did.”
