Man claims he spotted mythical Bigfoot in Colorado woods and there’s ‘video proof’

‘This one actually looks real’

A man has gone viral after claiming to have spotted Bigfoot roaming around the woods in Colorado, and he filmed a video of the supposed creature.

Tour guide Logan Kirk was whitewater rafting with a group taking part in the Colorado River Expedition on 24th May when they spotted the mythical figure 500 yards away.

He told the MailOnline they had just stopped for lunch beside the Upper Colorado River when they captured the strange footage.

“Someone yelled out that they saw a bear, so we started looking at it, and that’s when we realized it was something else. It wasn’t a bear. It was standing up there on the hillside. It was definitely bipedal, which really stood out to us,” Kirk said.

In the video, which has gone viral on social media, you can see what appears to be a large figure walking through the tall pine trees. However, it’s blurry and difficult to make out.

Also known as Sasquatch, Bigfoot is a mythical creature that’s said to live in North American forests according to ancient folklore, although there’s obviously no proof it’s actually real.

Obviously it’s very likely that the video is fake. I mean, why is it so blurry for a start?! It looks like a guy in a suit, but the video has got people on TikTok talking nonetheless.

“This one actually looks real,” one person commented on TikTok while another added: “There’s no denying it.”

However, others aren’t convinced, with someone asking on X: “Why is it 2025 and we’re still shooting new bigfoot content with iPhone 3s?”

Kirk told the MailOnline he’s going to go back to the same spot and see if he can find any evidence of what was actually going on up there, like footprints.

“Who knows? It’s so hard in the rocks to actually get anything like that, but we want to see if there’s anything there,” he said.

I think it’s safe to say the Bigfoot video is a fake, but this woman in Denver airport who warned of a “9/11 attack” seems creepily real.
