Explaining why everyone is suddenly blocking KSI and all the messy drama around it

If you’ve been on Twitter in the past day or so, you will probably have been slapped with an onslaught of everyone declaring that they have blocked KSI. Why? Because once again, the massive YouTuber-come-rapper has done something to piss everyone off after he made a decision on his Twitter that has literally riled so many people up. If your Twitter is just a mass of people declaring that they’ve blocked KSI on Twitter and why everyone is fuming.

You can say many things about KSI, but you can’t say he didn’t warn you. The reason everyone suddenly is declaring they’ve blocked KSI is because he decided to pay for the above tweet to be sponsored content – which means it was on everyone’s timeline unrelentingly. The fact that he did this has resulted in many blocking him, in an attempt to damage his reach and push back at the domineering way of marketing your content to a new audience.

It’s unclear if KSI knew this would be the reaction and is just experimenting, because when someone declared they’d blocked him, he said “yeah I hear it tbf”.

I personally hadn’t been getting the force tweet shoved on my timeline, but interestingly when I started writing this story he must have paid for more ads on a tweet about Prime because I am getting the below as a permanent advert right now after clicking on KSI’s Twitter.

The tweets reacting to KSI shoving his tweets down everyone on Twitter’s gobs has resulted in a reaction from various people like “raise your hand if you blocked KSI” and “KSI getting half of Twitter to block him is an interesting strategy.”

So safe to say, it’s backfired a little bit. Although knowing KSI, this is probably the reaction he wanted in the first place.
