From £20k to £500k: Here’s how much the Celebrity Big Brother 2025 cast are getting paid
The highest earner is pretty controversial
Celebrity Big Brother 2025 is in full swing and everyone wants to know the same thing – how much are the cast all getting paid to go on the show?!
Well, you’re in luck because this year’s pay has been revealed and it ranges from a pretty small £20k to a staggering £500k for the biggest earner.
Here’s how much cash each Big Brother cast member is reportedly taking home for their stint in the house, ranked from lowest to highest.
Ella Rae Wise – £20k

The lowest paid housemate this year is TOWIE’s Ella Rae Wise, who’s taking home just £20k according to The Sun.
A source said: “ITV like to have a TOWIE star in the mix for cross-brand promotion, but the ITVBe show doesn’t hold the pulling power it once did.”
Chesney Hawkes – £25k

Next up is singer Chesney Hawkes, who’s only getting £25k for his CBB appearance because he’s just a “novelty” booking according to the insider.
“He’s been doing the rounds of the student unions for years, and while everyone loves a bit of cheese, he’s not rarely-seen or reclusive, which makes him less of a coup.”
Donna Preston – £30k

Donna Preston comes in next, getting £30k for her stint in the house, and she’s in there for the comedic value.
“Comedians are always good value in the house, so bosses want them in there to bring the laughs, but Donna also has a sassy, spiky side that they believe raises her worth,” the insider said.

Danny Beard – £30k

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Danny Beard is also reportedly taking home £30k, and “drag queens don’t come cheap” apparently.
“Bosses also know that he’ll bring the sort of high camp drama that the likes of Courtney Act and David Pottshave brought in the past, so they think he’s worth the cash.”
Chris Hughes – £45k

Chris Hughes is only getting £45k, even though former Love Islander Ekin-Su got £100k for going on Big Brother last year.
Apparently that’s because she had just broken up with Davide, so she was bound to bring all the drama, but Chris doesn’t have the same appeal.
Angellica Bell – £80k

Angellica Bell has been in the industry for a long time, so some might expect her pay to be a bit higher, but she’s taking home £80k for her appearance.
The insider told The Sun she “lacks the controversy or scandal that would garner those higher price points,” but she does have some big popularity.
Jack P Shepherd – £100k

Getting to the higher paid stars, Corrie star Jack P Shepherd is getting a nice £100k for going into the house, and he’s bound to win over the soap viewers.
He won’t bring those explosive moments, but he’s a nice guy who’s probably going to to get to the final week just because everyone loves him.
Patsy Palmer – £100k

Keeping with the soap theme, iconic Eastenders actress Patsy Palmer is reportedly getting £100k for her big TV appearance too.
“Patsy is an Albert Square icon, so she gets more than one of the lower tier soap stars who hasn’t been in the public eye as long as she has,” the source said.
Michael Fabricant – £120k

Next up we have politician Michael Fabricant, who is taking home a pretty big £120k for his stint, and he’s sure to bring some controversy.
Politicians always get a big payout, but that’s nothing compared to the £320k and £1.5m that Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage got for I’m A Celeb.
Daley Thompson – £150k

Olympian Daley Thompson is getting £150k for going on the ITV show thanks to his sporting royalty status, which comes at a hefty price.
“He’s an old-school hero and, again, bosses expect him to have legs as a housemate,” the insider said. “Daley also has a history of being outspoken on hot-button issues.”
Trisha Goddard – 200k

Chat show queen Trisha Goddard is the third highest paid this year, taking home a massive £200k for her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
“She’s unafraid to share her opinions and as a seasoned broadcaster, knows the kind of controversial conversation topics to start that will create dynamite TV in the house.”
Jojo Siwa – £400k

Coming in at second is American YouTuber Jojo Siwa, who’s getting an extortionate £400k for appearing on the show, almost half a million.
According to the source: “She could well rub up some of the more reserved housemates the wrong way – and that’s exactly the kind of personality that will get the show to cough up.”
Mickey Rourke – £500k

And the top spot controversially goes to actor and former professional boxer Mickey Rourke, who’s cashing in £500k even though he’s probably going to be the first to leave after that shocking comment.
“Mickey is considered a loose cannon, and producers think he is worth getting their big cheque book out for. He is unpredictable, and they know lots of people will tune in to see if he cracks under the pressure,” the source said.
