It’s here! Molly-Mae shares her surprisingly savage review of Wicked
She called out the film in her new vlog
It’s been three weeks since Wicked was released and the whole world seems to have seen the movie – including Molly-Mae.
The Love Islander revealed that she had just been to watch the musical in her latest vlog, and she didn’t give it the best review.
Molly-Mae loves a film review and recently went viral after ranking all the horror movies she had recently seen out of 10.
She was also slammed after sharing her scathing review of Italian food. Now, Wicked is the latest thing to be called out.
“We went to see Wicked last night which I’m so glad we got the chance to do because I’ve been wanting to see it since it came out,” she said.
Molly claimed she is very “into theatre” and has been to see Wicked on the West End lots of times so she was really excited.
However, the film wasn’t what the 25-year-old expected at all, and she savagely described the whole experience as “interesting”.
“I feel like it has been really made out on social media that it’s a film that everyone will absolutely without question will love,” she explained. “But I would say, if you’re not into musical theatre you’re not gonna enjoy that film.”
“Obviously the film is two hours and 40 minutes so it’s a very long film and I feel like to me, how I see it on social media, it’s really been made out that this is the film of the year and everyone’s gonna love it.”
Molly went on to say it’s not a movie that you can take absolutely anyone to see and expect them to love it.

“I personally did enjoy it because I love musical theatre but if you don’t love musical theatre, you’re not gonna enjoy Wicked because when I tell you it’s like a song every three seconds.”
She added that if you don’t already know the story of Wicked, you’ll struggle to understand the film because it’s quite slow and difficult to grasp the plot through the songs.
“I think you have to love Wicked to love that film,” she concluded.
However, the influencer did say that as a musical theatre fan, the film made her cry and gave her goosebumps on multiple occasions, especially during Defying Gravity.
