Coleen Rooney’s body language exposes how she really feels about Rebekah Vardy on I’m A Celeb
One of her gestures gives everything away
It was inevitable that Coleen Rooney was going to be asked about her true feelings on Rebekah Vardy and that whole drama whilst on I’m A Celeb. And whilst she’s been playing her cards quite close to her chest and seems very chilled about the whole situation, unlike others… But is that really how she feels or is she just putting on a front?
On behalf of Spin Genie, body language expert Darren Stanton has revealed all about the conversation that happened during Monday night’s episode, including one gesture that gives her true feelings away. So, let’s find out what Coleen Rooney really thinks of Rebekah Vardy whilst on I’m A Celeb.
He revealed: “If you zoom in, you can see the crinkling of the nose, which is a micro expression of how she really feels. The lines on the right hand side of her mouth are contempt for Vardy.”
He continued: “She’s quite forthright and authentic in this moment, and a really open book. She’s saying to someone, this is the situation and the fact she’s stretching out her arm with an open palm means she’s telling it as it is, she’s telling us the truth. There’s a lot of authenticity coming from Coleen.”
Darren added: “In another shot, we’ve got what we’d normally call a steeple gesture, which usually denotes confidence, but here it denotes a level of nervousness.
“She’s almost reliving how she felt at the time. When people wring their hands really tightly, you can see she’s gripping her knuckles very tightly, unconsciously she’s reliving the whole thing and going through a different range of emotions.”

He carried on, saying: “For her, she is constantly authentic in what she’s saying. She’s not being defensive and is being open and honest with the audience.
“There was no hesitance or reluctance for her to speak about it, she seemed quite happy to go over the details and the non-verbal gestures supported that assertion.
“She may be fed up with some of the optics of what happened, but she is more than happy to chat about it and set the record straight.”
