Omg, a clip’s surfaced of Dean auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent before he was famous

From dancing for Alesha Dixon to doing bushtucker trials

Dean McCullough has become an instant icon in the I’m A Celeb jungle, and now a video of him has resurfaced when he was auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent before he became famous and had his Radio 1 show. Dean has quickly become one of the best name’s in the camp on I’m A Celeb this year, because even when he’s flopping in the trials he’s got such a lovely attitude and is clearly so funny and well liked by the camp – and also, seemingly, by Britain’s Got Talent judges over 10 years ago. I had no clue he even did this!?

In a tweet doing the rounds last night, Dean auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in 2013 as part of a dance group called Glambassadors. He auditioned in from of Alesha Dixon with her song The Boy Does Nothing, and the group got through to the semi-finals of the show.

In the semi-final 5, the Glambassadors then performed a medley of Christina Aguilera hits mashing up some of her tunes from Burlesque, into Candyman and then a full on gay-bar explosion with a snippet of Macho Man. Camp as tits.

After not winning Britain’s Got Talent, Dean moved into radio and got a job with Gaydio. After that, he covered for Clara Amfo in 2020 on Radio 1 for a couple of days and then covered Jordan North’s breakfast show for a bit too.

This lead to him permanently taking over Jordan North’s breakfast show in 2021 on Fridays to Sundays, before taking over from Scott Mills and Chris Stark on the afternoon show in July 2022. It’s been a whirlwind for Dean.

Need him to start redoing the choreo that he did on Britain’s Got Talent in the I’m A Celeb jungle as a matter of urgency. The camp needs to see the camp!
