Want to support a small business and still get your coffee fix this autumn? We’ve got you covered
If you’re wanting your pumpkin spice latte fix in Lincoln, then look no further as The Lincoln Tab has compiled our favourite spots for this iconic autumnal drink.
Not only are these in our opinion, the top three spots in Lincoln, but they are all small businesses, which is a bonus in itself.
1. Coffee Hollow
Lincoln’s exclusively vegan coffee destination is a top spot for relaxing with a pumpkin spice latte.
Coffee Hollow is only a short walk from The Mailbox and is tucked away just off of the high street, offering an exciting range of alternative milks.
When we went to try their pumpkin spice latte we had it with almond milk, however, they also offer soya, coconut and oat milk. A pumpkin spice latte with almond milk is a personal favourite. Nutty, spicy and just what was needed.
It’s a comfy, quiet spot and you can also go there with friends and enjoy their wide array of board games. Staff are very friendly and informative about their selection of drinks available.
Coffee Hollow is also an LGBTQIA+ friendly venue. Its definitely worth a visit, very mindful, very demure.
2. Coffee Aroma
An even shorter walk from The Mailbox and just before the high street you can find coffee aroma. An inviting venue with ample outside seating and one venue where pumpkin spice is for life, not just for October.
This venue has a vast array of drinks available including everything from Coca Cola to boozy coffee favourites. This venue is also open for evening drinks on select nights in the week.

This time we tried the pumpkin spice latte with soya milk. Sweet and comforting, just like this venue. A variety of sweet treats and savoury snacks are also served.
Overall, Coffee Aroma is a warm and inviting venue, perfect for those autumn days where you need warming up.
3. Madame Waffle
Further up the high street, you can find Madame Waffle.
Here you can find food, alcoholic beverages and, of course, pumpkin spice. Pumpkin spice isn’t just for lattes, this time around we had a flat white for a change to feel the spice in the pumpkin spice.
This venue offers both sit-in dining and takeaway coffees and snacks. Madame Waffle’s location is ideal, whether you’re coming up or down Steep Hill, you can count on Madame Waffle to be the halfway house you need this autumn.
One thing about pumpkin spice is its versatility. Pumpkin spice is nice no matter what drink it’s in and we found this out by trying a pumpkin spice flat white here. Warm, rich and packed full of spice.
Madame Waffle also sells its coffee apparatus such as hand presses and filter papers for those of you who are coffee aficionados at home.
Maybe you could try and make your own pumpkin spice latte at home? Or, if you’d rather a quick and easy coffee, you can try any of these spots for a PSL in Lincoln instead.
