Um, Charli XCX is teasing a collab with H&M?! Here are all the clues and what to expect

This week, head honcho it girl Charli XCX teased an upcoming collaboration with none other than major fashion brand H&M. Posting a photo of the messy insides of her handbag, a H&M receipt can be seen buried amongst Brat essentials such as lipgloss, wired headphones and of course a CD of the album. So naturally, we were all quick to suspect an upcoming collab.

From Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign to Asda, brands have not shied away from using the inescapable slime green colour and simple black text to appeal particularly to Gen Z audiences, with H&M being no exception.

And H&M, now sporting a Brat inspired version of their logo on Instagram, appear to be the latest to be enjoying a Brat girl summer. No details have been confirmed officially yet, but what do we know about the collaboration so far from the girl who is so Julia? Here’s everything to expect from the Charli XCX and H&M collab.

The receipt featured on Charli’s Instagram has microscopic text that if investigated closely, reveals a list of clothing items, suspected to be featured in the collab for fans to buy.

Angel Jeans, Charli’s Dress, Brat Boots, XCX Sunglasses, Hottie Hot Pants, 360 White Vest Top, Club Classic Tee are listed on the brand’s receipt – which all are the essentials any bratty club rat could ever need.

Charli’s fashion throughout this era has solidified her icon status, with thick black hair matched with blackout sunglasses and a white tee becoming her staple look. Now fans can channel the energy of the 365 party girl in a pair of hottie hot pants – NEED.

Although no official date has been confirmed, a date can be found on the receipt, September 12th, two days before Charli embarks on the Sweat Tour with fellow pop icon, Troye Sivan.

The same date can be found in the bio of H&M’s Instagram which has also wiped their entire page of any posts. They’re clearly gearing up to enter a new era, Taylor Swift Reputation style.

With the receipt showing a British address for Regent Street in London, it is highly likely the collaboration will be available across the UK once released.

Finally! Us Brits getting something good. Charli, I’ll never forgive you for making the Sweat Tour US dates only, but this is just about makes up for it.

Although we won’t know the prices until the collaboration hits the shelves, H&M is known for it’s affordable, high street prices, so it is likely the collaboration won’t run you dry. Charli, you are the people’s princess!

Charli recently came under fire for the price tags on her own merchandise, with a £50 Brat beach towel and a £16 singular “lower back tattoo” temporary tattoo.
