Listen up vintage lovers, Glass Onion Vintage is back this Sunday in Newcastle
My bank account literally can’t take it
Let’s face it, you’re not a Newcastle student if you don’t absolutely live and breathe vintage. Most Toon students would choose to invest in a vintage leather jacket over covering their rent, and I don’t really blame them.
So good news, vintage enthusiasts: Glass Onion Vintage is coming to Newcastle this Sunday 19th February with a tonne of premium vintage garms. Whether you wear your Dickies to the club or your remade Paul Fleece Balaclava to uni – it’s dealers choice.
Glass Onion is known for their dealer’s pick of vintage items and are promoting sustainable shopping, something we all could do more of. They sell absolutely loads of vintage items on their website, including mystery boxes which seem so fun to me.
The pop up is to be located in Boiler Shop between 10.30am until 4.30pm on Sunday only – a lovely change to your usual Tyneside or Quayside market excursions. Entry is absolutely free and tickets can be bought here.
At the pop up, they’re also offering a hand selected premium boutique area with rare and premium products, as well as unique remade designs from their in-house sewing team. This way, you’re highly unlikely to find someone in Swingers smoking area with the same knit as you.
Even better, they’re offering a huge deals area, including £10 or two for £15, £15 or two for £25 and £20 or two for £35 so you wont feel that guilty about spending your weekly budget on a flannel and a spell out jumper. On top of that, they also accept 10% student discount.

Like I said, entry is free but you can choose to purchase a VIP ticket to get entry an hour early if you dont fancy fighting over those rails. VIP tickets will set you back £5. Happy thrifting!
