Newcastle Restaurant Week is back to spice up your January
Clear your diaries as there are so many deals starting today
Newcastle Restaurant Week starts today, with more restaurants taking part than ever before. If you’re an avid foodie or just enjoy the one-off bite out, there is something for everyone. With exceptional deals and discounts galore, you certainly don’t want to miss out.
From 16th-22nd January, 116 restaurants participating in the initiative. It sees some of the best restaurants in the Toon offer exceptional deals for students, residents and tourists’ pleasure. Those taking part offer a set menu costing £10, £15 or £20 per person. Some classic favourites are returning this year, as well as some new, exciting additions.
Even high end restaurants such as Aveika and 3SIXTY are taking part. Aveika have a deal of two courses starting at just £15pp whilst 3SIXTY have set menus starting at just £20pp. One of our local favorites in Jesmond, The Holy Hobo, is offering two courses for £10pp and three courses for £15pp.
Some of the newbies include the Italian restaurant, Luis, offering great deals on two or three courses, Charts House, a seafood restaurant alongside the Quayside and Thali Tray@Bealim House. One of my personal favorites, Fat Hippo, is also part of the restaurant week this year. The burger chain is offering a starter and a main for only £15pp.
After the COVID-19 pandemic and with the current cost of living crisis this event gives you the opportunity to support local businesses and save money on some great deals yourself.
