Nightlife street style

Now exams are over we call out the fashionistas of Liverpool who have finally left the library to paint the town every colour of the rainbow.

For a city that captivates culture it’s evident the fashion is always on top form in Liverpool.

The climate may be battling against us but, as always, us Northern students don’t let a slight chill in the air stop us from showing off our finest attire.

The Tab hit concert square this week for a Popworld Fun Day Sunday and found just a small sample of the best dressed ladies and gents in the clubs.

Black is always a great shout when spending most of the night chugging drinks and necking shots (hides any spillages). But brightening it up with a colour contrasting skirt and chunky costume jewellery spices things up a bit.

For the gents it’s easier to stay a bit warmer with a smart long sleeved shirt. Ps. boys a nice neat shirt is a much better way to succeed with the ladies, rather than t-shirts that have pics of naked girls on. Just saying.

Cigarette trousers are always a stylish yet comfortable way to go for a night out. You don’t have to worry about flashing your frenchies while straddling the pole in Popworld but you still look super, tastefully elegant.

Striking patterns on dresses is what this season is all about; it’s impacting but effortless. Don’t worry about jazzing it up even more with a flashy necklace, pattern on pattern is very in (as long as it works).

Don’t be scared to make it casual! A cropped tee and denim shorts is very effortlessly cool, but the clutch and tights hold it back from being an outfit belonging to a 15 year old girl. Impressed with this gal’s casual style and jealous of her comfy shoes.

Well done students of Liverpool, it may have been a Sunday and it may have been approximately minus seven degrees but you looked a delight as usual!
