Taylor from Love Is Blind explains ‘muffin-gate’ drama which exposed Stephen’s dirty texts

Love Is Blind season seven has brought the chaos like no other this year, and we’re heading into tomorrow’s wedding episodes with just three couples left. One of the biggest dramas this season was Stephen and Monica’s dramatic breakup, which came around after Monica found “dirty kink” messages on his phone with an unnamed woman. Taylor was instantly at Monica’s side after hearing the Stephen news, but how did she make it there quicker than the Love Is Blind camera crew? She was actually a lot more involved in the breakup than you thought.

In an interview with Glamour, Taylor opened up about her time on Love Is Blind, and went into specific details about her interactions with Monica and Stephen on that fateful night. When she was asked about being a “part of the aftermath” in the breakup, she actually went back and explained her entire side of the story.

Taylor explained what went down that night: “So, that night I had baked all these pumpkin muffins for all the couples, and we were delivering them. Garrett had texted Stephen like, Hey, coming up with muffins. And then because of that, Monica checked his phone and saw the text messages. It kind of all went from there.”

She admitted that when they were coming up with the muffins on the show, it ended up being “just really bad timing” for Monica and Stephen. Bad timing or necessary timing Taylor?

She also mentioned that the muffins were just Trader Joe pumpkin muffins made from a mix that she makes in the autumn. She even told Glamour that she’d joked about making the muffins again with Monica recently: “I was like, I almost bought those Trader Joe pumpkin muffins to make this week for fall. But then I was like, probably not. Probably not. It’s, like, bad luck to do that.”
